“Deanteā Hitchcock gifts the world some bars in the ‘4 You And Yours’ video” – The FADER
“Deanteā Hitchcock is undoubtedly one of Atlantaās most overlooked artists, aptly sculpting out his sound away from much of the localeās trap-clad archetypes.”Ā – HYPEBEAST
“By putting so much thought, effort, and curation into not just each track but in the project as a whole, Deante lives up to its lofty title; itās just better than so much of what else is currently available that thereās no doubt in my mind that he has the potential to one day reach that upper echelon currently occupied by his most conspicuous co-signer. The quality of BETTER suggests that the best is yet to come.”Ā – UPROXX
āWhat sets him apart from most rappers is his use of storytelling, flexibility in verses, and performances with live bandsā –Ā Karen Civil
About
Introspective. Talented. Lyricist. These are just a few words to describe Grammy-nominated rising Atlanta artist Deanteā Hitchcock. After dropping out of Georgia Southern University, Deanteā decided that rap was his only option and began working harder than ever by releasing mixtapes and videos that created an undeniable buzz. With several impressive EPs under his lyrical belt, (Good, So Much for Good Luck, Just A Sample, Just A Sample 2) Deanteā is following in the footsteps of the Atlanta legends that came before him such as 2Chainz and Waka Flocka. āWhat sets him apart from most rappers is his use of storytelling, flexibility in verses, and performances with live bands,ā states KarenCivil.com. The Rap Hippies declares, āHitchcock, who has a knack for crafting hard-hitting, comical, and oftentimes vulnerable lyrics, spits every rhyme as if his life depended on itā¦ If every rapper was as hungry as Deanteā Hitchcock, the world would be a better place. Period.ā
