The Two Paper Route EMPIRE Rappers Bring Their Best Bars for a Flex-Heavy, Bandplay-Produced Anthem

Bouncing boss-life bars off one another with palpable chemistry, Young Dolph and Key Glock are a truly dynamic duo. Coming together with a series of escalating flexes, Dolph & Glock share “Case Closed,” a new single. Produced by Paper Route EMPIRE‘s own Bandplay, who combines haunting vox synths with a boss-battle bassline and ominous keys, Dolph and Glock present an irrefutable argument that nobody can rack up or spend bands in the way that they can: “I put VS stones in my glasses/Stuffed a quarter mil in 20s in a mattress/It used to be who get the bomb off the fastest/Now a n**** make millions of ad-libs (yeah yeah!),” intones Dolph. Though they can’t help but boast about their ends, they never forget the circumstances from which they emerged: “Went from sleeping on the floor/Now my jewelry box froze,” rhymes Dolph in the song’s hook. “Case Closed” is the second collab of the year from the Dum & Dummer duo, following “Green Light,“ a highlight single from Dolph’s Rich Slave (Deluxe) album.
The two Paper Route EMPIRE heavy hitters are preparing for a massive 2021. Dolph has already had a busy year, releasing the deluxe version of his Billboard Top 5-charting Rich Slave album, featuring 8 new tracks like the bombastic single. “Large Amounts,” the luxury life anthem “Fast” (“I’ve got a billion dollar future, f*ck yesterday and the past,” asserts Dolph) and the simmering “Buy My Way To Heaven.” Key Glock, meanwhile, racked up 2.6 million views on his flashy video for “Off The Porch,” to go along with 1.1 million Spotify streams. Key Glock and Young Dolph connected in 2019 for Dum & Dummer, a full-length collaborative project. Peaking at #8 on the Billboard 200, Dum & Dummer was a deluxe-sized showcase for the duo’s inimitable chemistry and unparalleled flexes. Dum & Dummer inspired a successful joint tour, during which Dolph & Glock sold over 43,000 tickets and sold out shows in multiple markets.
