Crashing charts and cashing checks, Young Dolph and Key Glock are Southern rap’s most dynamic duo. Connecting over a hypnotic Bandplay beat, Dolph and Glock share “Green Light,” a new music video. An addition from the Deluxe Edition of Dolph’s album Rich Slave, “Green Light” is an ultra-smooth smack talker, offering both emcees the opportunity to sneer at the opposition with boss-life bars and witty punchlines: “It’s a bird, it’s a plane, nah, that’s Glock with your main b*tch/I be makin’ plays on top of plays like I ain’t rich,” spits Glock. In the video, directed by Dolph himself under his Paper Route Pictures moniker, Dolph and Glock rock designer on a Memphis city bus, as they hand out wads of cash to their fellow passengers before getting off at a corner to greet some adoring fans. “Green Light” follows Dolph’s video for “To Be Honest,” which features cameo appearances from NFL legend Deion Sanders and his son Shadeur.

Expanding his acclaimed and popular 2020 album, Dolph recently released Rich Slave (Deluxe). The deluxe edition offers eight new tracks, bringing the blend of outlandish flexes, confident punchlines, and words of wisdom for which Dolph is known. Though Dolph offers a snapshot of his extravagant life, he never forgets where he came from–the 8 new tracks emphasize Dolph’s connection to his hometown of Memphis, featuring guest spots from Dolph’s Paper Route EMPIRE signees Key Glock and Kenny Muney, boasting production from PRE producer Bandplay, and packing in references to local food spots and neighborhood haunts. Among the Deluxe tracks is the bombastic single. “Large Amounts,” along with new highlights like the luxury life anthem “Fast” (“I’ve got a billion dollar future, f*ck yesterday and the past,” asserts Dolph) and the simmering “Buy My Way To Heaven.“

Originally released in August 2020, Rich Slave peaked at #4 on the Billboard 200 and hit #1 on Billboard’s Independent Albums chart, selling over 65k units and generating over 44 million on-demand streams in its first week. The album is home singles like the West Coast tribute “Death Row,“ the conversational “Blue Diamonds,“ and the Megan Thee Stallion-featuring riders’ anthem “RNB,” which reached the top ten of Billboard’s Hip-Hop/R&B airplay chart. Rich Slave also features Dolph’s most political statement to date–the searing “The Land,” in which Dolph recounts a run-in with racist police and calls out America for its history of systemic racism.
