Ever since its founding by Wiz Khalifa, Taylor Gang Entertainment has been one of the most successful Hip-Hop labels in the business. Today, the label celebrates its recent signing to Atlantic with TGOD Vol. 1, a new mixtape with contributions from the label’s entire roster and a major showcase for the label’s young talent. The new mixtape continues a huge year for Taylor Gang, which recently signed a deal with Atlantic Records that ensures worldwide distribution for the imprint and its artists. Most recently, Ty Dolla $ign released his project Campaign late last month. Among the most heavily spotlighted young artists on the new tape is J.R. Donato, a North-side Chicago native whose hard-hitting new mixtape Why So Serious? drops this Friday. Meanwhile, label veteran and Wiz Khalifa day-one Chevy Woods is currently preparing for the release of his upcoming Taylor’d, due later this year.
