The Project:

A rising star in his hometown of Atlanta, Big Havi’s music provides an ideal mix of addictive hooks, athletic rhymes, and heartfelt emotion. Further refining his “pain music” aesthetic, Havi shares Personal Problems 2, his third project of the year. The sequel to Havi’s early 2020 project Personal Problems, the new project is a refinement of Havi’s approach, combining heartfelt lyrics with an innate songwriting ability. The project reveals a more confident and brash young artist, one who’s still haunted by his traumatic past but motivated by the drive to provide for his family.

Highlights from the project include “Fake A Smile,” which explores how money and fame can’t buy happiness, and “Don’t Approach Me,” a fiery step-off anthem with an appearance from kindred spirit OMB Peezy. Featuring additional appearances from Havi’s fellow ATL young guns Lil Keed, who appears on recent single “Vibez’N,” Slimelife Shawty, Seddy Hendrix, and D’Rick, Personal Problems 2 is available everywhere via Commission Records.

Bursting onto the scene earlier this year with his innate melodicism and deeply felt pain, Havi is in the midst of a busy 2020. PP2 is Havi’s third body of work of the year. In February, Havi shared the expressive and infectious Personal Problems, which hosted the hit single “9 Times Out Of 10.” With over 27 million total streams, more than 8 million YouTube views, and a feature from Lil Baby, “9 Times Out Of 10” reached #34 on the nationwide urban radio airplay chart.

Later in the year, as protests demonstrating against police brutality rose up across the country, Havi shared No Pen No Pad Just Pain, a raw and emotional EP. Videos from the project, including the Qasquiat-directed “Blood N My Eyes“ (116k views), found Havi showing support for the Black Lives Movement in his city. Earlier this month, Havi shared the video for “Testimony,” which paid tribute to his grandparents and saluted them for working hard to provide Havi with a bigger life.
