Emerging from his rough upbringing to build a life of luxury, Bay Area legend J. Stalin shows what happens when the underdog triumphs. Gathering his car collection and a crew of models, Stalin lives large in “Bubble Gum Candy Fruit,” his latest video. Posting up with Beeda Weeda at a local basketball court, adorned with graffiti and the And 1 logo, Stalin relaxes in his snow white Beamer, his classic Lincoln muscle car, and his bright red Dodge Charger as the camera provides overhead shots of his West Oakland neighborhood. Premiered by XXL, “Bubble Gum Candy Fruit” springs from the Miracle disc of Miracle & Nightmare on 10th Street Part 2, Stalin’s latest double album and collaboration with Dj.Fresh. The cinematic video follows clips for the XXL-premiered “Livewire Party,” the HYPEBEAST-premiered “Cops & Robbers,” and the luxurious video for “Living Lavish.”

Reuniting for the latest in a series of ten collaborative LPs, Stalin and Dj.Fresh shared Miracle & Nightmare on 10th Street Part 2 in November. The sequel to Fresh and Stalin’s Miracle & Nightmare on 10th Street, which reached #28 on the Billboard Heatseekers chart upon its release in 2013, Part 2 spans two 10-track discs, each organized on the the nightmare and miracle of life in Stalin’s neighborhood in Oaktown.
