New Audible Treats Hip-Hop Podcast 165 Features Wara From The NBHD, Beeda Weeda, Kilz, Jahzel, and Devin Miles

This week’s Audible Treats Hip-Hop Podcast pops off with the latest single from Moola Gang Ca$h Cow$’ rapper/producer, Kilz. “FayCo”¬†is the second single from forthcoming mixtape, Krak Kilz. The track follows the release of “Have Some Fun,” and creates a strong atmosphere of pride. Paying homage to his hometown, the Uniontown rapper repeatedly states¬†throughout the track that Fayette County is his¬†life and that he is proud to sing its praises, while delivering its anthem. Next up on the podcast is rapper Beeda Weeda with his latest track, “Us,” featuring Young Gully. “Us” is a single from Beeda Weeda’s latest album,¬†Too $hort¬†Presents: Beeda Weeda‚Äôs Bass Rock Babies. Last week Beeda released¬†his latest project, a mini-documentary titled¬†“What is a Beeda Weeda?”¬†The video features the Bay Area rapper discussing everything from the origin of his name to his latest projects, along with¬†testimonials from Too $hort, E-40, Tajai of the Souls of Mischief/Hieroglyphics, and B-Legit, who describe the rapper as ‚Äúauthentic‚ÄĚ and ‚Äúone of the most marketable rappers in the Bay Area.‚ÄĚ Third up on the podcast is Devin Miles, with his latest loose single, “No Different.” With news circulating about his highly anticipated album, Pixburgh,¬†set to drop next month, Miles again mixes it up with a laid back, piano heavy single, not being released on the album. The track follows Miles’ first single from Pixburgh, “Came Up,”¬†and features production from Christo. Following Devin Miles is the latest single from Jahzel, “Who Is You.” The track is the second single from Jahzel’s forthcoming album, The Wake Up,¬†set to be released next month. Similar to title track “Wake Up,” “Who Is You” presents Jahzel’s personal story of growing up in Chicago. Hoping to abolish the stereotypes of violence and “gun toting youth” Jahzel raps about the real story of¬†Chicago, presenting themes of the struggle to thrive with limited opportunities. Closing out the podcast is the latest loose single from Wara From The NBHD, “You Must Die.”¬†Currently riding a streak of releases “You Must Die” follows the release of his last loose single “Cold Case.”¬†Both of these singles were released a mere month after dropping¬†his latest conceptual album¬†Kidnapped.¬†Describing the track as “the rawest shit you are going to hear for the rest of the year,” by Mass Appeal, Wara has turned dedication into promising potential.
