(Chicago, IL – June 27, 2023) – Last month, Sueños Music Festival returned for its second annual two-day fest, bringing the best in reggaeton and Latin Music to the heart of Chicago. Today, fans can relive the magic with the official Sueños 2023 Aftermovie, out now on the festival’s YouTube channel.
Sueños 2023 was an irrepressible vibe, packing Chicago’s Grant Park with a crowd of passionate Latin music fans. The communal spirit was tangible, as fans shouted along to their favorite songs and danced as the between-set DJs played reggaeton hits of the past and present. Complete with breathtaking views of Chicago’s skyline, great Latin music, and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage, the kinetic aftermovie recreates the experience of attending this one-of-a-kind festival, from arrival via the CTA all the way to Grupo Firme’s concluding Sunday set.
Soundtracked by music from Grupo Firme, Wisin Y Yandel, Young Miko, Chencho Corleone and more, the Aftermovie recounts many of the most exciting on-stage moments from this year’s festival: Grupo Firme leading a thousands-strong sing along, neon-lit sets by stars like Feid and Nicky Jam under Chicago’s city lights, performances by reggaeton legends Arcangel and Ivy Queen, Myke Towers signing a pair of Jordans for a lucky fan, plus much more.
Located in picturesque Grant Park, offering spectacular views of Lake Michigan and the Chicago skyline, Sueños Festival (translation: dreams), was created to be an inclusive event with a mission to continue to celebrate and uplift Latin culture and the extraordinary music, people, food, and amazing energy that comes along with it. In addition to an entirely Latin lineup, the festival featured a curated selection of Chicago’s best Latin food, art installations, a ferris wheel, multiple bars, specialty cocktail lounges, and much more.
