The Announcement:

Since emerging onto the scene with 2023’s “Pound Town,” Sexyy Red has made it her mission to dominate the summer season. As she prepares to release new music this fall, the St. Louis-born superstar is celebrating the conclusion of her third straight Sexyy Summer. Sexyy has been everywhere this summer, and it might have been hard to keep up. Here are some of the highlights from her spectacular season.

Hot on the heels of her early 2025 singles “Fat Juicy & Wet” ft. Bruno Mars (#18 Billboard Hot 100 peak, #1 on Urban Radio) and “Hoochie Coochie” (praised by PitchforkComplexBETUPROXX, and more), Sexyy has become one of the most in-demand collaborators in hip-hop:

  • Justin Bieber recruited Sexyy to be one of the few guests on his chart-topping album SWAG: their collaboration “SWEET SPOT” peaked at #57 on the Billboard Hot 100.
  • GUILT TRIPPIN‘,” Sexyy’s hard-hitting collab with UK star Central Cee spent two weeks on the UK’s Official Singles Chart, peaking at #47.
  • The 27-year-old artist hopped on collaborations with hip-hop legends, connecting with Snoop Dogg on “Me & OG Snoop,” and her icon Gucci Mane on “You Don’t Love Me.”‘
  • Big Sexyy made her presence felt on the remix for rising ATL rapper Pluto’s song of the summer contender “Whim Whammie,” and united with “Million Dollar Baby” hitmaker Tommy Richman for the “Actin’ Up” (Remix).

Sexyy’s high-profile collaborations were not confined to the world of hip-hop, as she expand her horizons to include EDM, pop-rock, and even Country music:

  • Sexyy Red collaborated with superstar DJ Tiësto for “OMG,” a song from the hit soundtrack to summer blockbuster F1: The Movie, racking up tens of millions of streams across platforms.
  • Rising country star Jessie Murph invited Sexyy to spruce up her Billboard Top 25 hit “Blue Strips” with a feisty remix.
  • Most recently, Sexyy appeared on Love Is Like, the latest album by Maroon 5, bringing her signature energy to “I Like It.”

Beyond her recorded output, Sexyy made waves with electric performances and racked up honor after honor:

  • Sexyy earned a nomination for “Best Hip-Hop Video” at the 2025 MTV VMAs (“Whatcha Know Bout Me” w/ GloRilla).
  • She stunned fans in the UK at Wireless Festival, when she performed as a special guest for her friend Drake, and brought the house down with her set at Lyrical Lemonade’s Summer Smash.
  • Keeping her run in the UK going, Sexyy hosted the first-ever artist residency at Tape London, launching Tape Wired, a new artist-led takeover series celebrating Tape’s 10-year anniversary. During her residency, Sexyy welcomed surprise guests including LattoYeat, Rubi RoseDDGLoe Shimmy, and more.
  • In May, Sexyy Red walked the red carpet at the American Music Awards, where she was nominated for “Favorite Female Hip-Hop Artist,” “Favorite Hip-Hop Song” for “Whatcha Know Bout Me” w/ GloRilla.
  • Billboard named Sexyy the “Indie Rapper of the Year” at their annual Indie Power Players event.
