THE RECAP:

Rolling Loud continues its epic 2023 world tour with the inaugural Rolling Loud Germany, its first ever event in the country. The three-day bash brings the biggest stars in international rap and Afrobeats to Messe München in Munich, one of the most historic cities in Europe.

The weather was perfect and the vibes were pristine on the first day of the action-packed weekend, as passionate fans from Germany and all over Europe poured in to see their favorite artists. Lagos’s very own StarBoy, WizKid, closed the evening with a vibrant performance, drawing from his massive catalog of hits and urging the crowd to dance and sing along.

WizKid’s set was a fitting capper for a day that brought a diverse and extremely talented array of performers to the stage: Florida superstar Kodak Black, UK scenesters like Central CeeUnknown T, and M Huncho, Afrobeats stars Fireboy DML and Ayra Starr, and rising US rappers like Luh TylerTiaCorine, and Bktherula. The crowd gave a special welcome to German duo Bonez MC and Raf Camora, who dominated the Loud Stage during their afternoon set.

Stay tuned throughout the weekend, as the fest continues with headliners Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar, plus many, many more.

The Background:

About Rolling Loud

Founded by 6-time Billboard Hip-Hop Power Players Matt Zingler & Tariq Cherif as a one-day Miami show, Rolling Loud has grown into a global phenomenon, hosting festivals on both US coasts and in multiple international locations. Rolling Loud is the premier festival brand in hip-hop, known for its expert curation of wide-ranging lineups that reflect the state of the genre.

2022 was Rolling Loud’s biggest year yet. The festival returned to their home base of Miami for their largest event to date, headlined by Kid Cudi, Kendrick Lamar, and Future, and the inaugural Rolling Loud Portugal, which brought an international array of all-stars to the beaches of Portimåo, Portugal. The festival’s busy 2022 continued with the first ever Rolling Loud Toronto, headlined by Future, WizKid, and Dave, and the third annual Rolling Loud New York, headlined by Nicki Minaj, A$AP Rocky & Future.

In 2023, Rolling Loud expands its empire even further, returning to Los Angeles for Rolling Loud California, debuting Rolling Loud Thailand, its first-ever Asian festival, and staging three European shows including Rolling Loud Portugal, and the inaugural editions of Rolling Loud Rotterdam (NL) and Rolling Loud Germany.
