Armed with lessons learned from his mentor Young Dolph, Memphis rapper Jay Fizzle navigates hardships like a hot knife through butter. Reflecting on his rise with lightning quick bars and honest emotion, Fizzle shares “Built For This,” his new video. Tiptoeing atop thunderous percussion, Fizzle comments on his transformation–from mobile homes to Maybachs, from police raids to festival stages–which he earned through grit and determination. In the video, shot in crisp black-and-white by @HDotRoss, Fizzle dramatizes his life changes, as he runs from the police directly into the arms of an adoring crowd.
“Built For This” is the latest video from F*CK BEING FAMOUS, Fizzle’s recent project, following clips for “Back Breakers,” the SNUPE BANDZ-featuring “Good Fellas,” and the hard-hitting title track. Fizzle’s latest collection of unapologetically raw rhymes rolls out the carpet for a series of guests, both familiar and unfamiliar.
