The Announcement:

“When I came up with the idea, it was basically like S-O-S-S, an acronym for Something Original, Something Symbolic. So, you have SOSS, as in it’s you, it’s originality. It’s just your own personal flavor.” – Pi’erre Bourne to XXL in 2022

When Pi’erre Bourne formed SossHouse, he had a vision of a collective or artists, united not by their similar qualities, but by what makes them distinct. Over the years, the Grammy-winning artist, producer, and entrepreneur cultivated a diverse and talented roster for the SossHouse label, and now, he’s ready to showcase their talents. Today, Pi’erre Bourne announces the upcoming slate of projects by SossHouse artists: six mixtapes by SossHouse artists, each one produced in full by Pi’erre himself, released over the next six weeks.

The SossHouse Spring starts this Friday with Still Trapp’N, a new mixtape by Frazier Trill. Hailing from Greenville, South Carolina, Frazier is a longtime signee to SossHouse, specializing in tough-talking, streetwise bars delivered through a thick Southern drawl. The upcoming Still Trapp’n is the follow-up to Trill’s 2021 mixtape, titled Frazier Trill, featuring guest spots from fellow SossHouse rappers Jelly and Bermuda Yae. Featuring hard-hitting, ethereal beats from Pi’erre and a tracklist to be announced, Still Trapp’n arrives on May 5th via SossHouse.

Still Trapp’n is only the first release in a stacked season of standout full-lengths. Next in line is Chavo and his anticipated mixtape Chavo’s World 3. The rising hitmaker is known for the 2021 viral hit “Michigan,” which eventually earned a remix with Babyface Ray, and recently collabed with Pi’erre for the “Call On Me” single and A$AP Ant and G.T. for the spicy “Wasabi” video. Chavo’s World 3 arrives on May 12th.

Third in line is Sharc, a Queens, NY-born rapper and one of the most promising on the SossHouse roster. Sharc made waves in 2021 with the Pi’erre-produced 47 Meters Down, and with “Drunk N Nasty,” a GOLD certified collaboration from Pi’erre’s The Life Of Pablo 5. The sequel to 47 Meters DownSharc Wave hits the streets on May 19th.

Chavo, Sharc, and Jelly, the SossHouse rapper behind the acclaimed project The Wolf of Peachtree 2, will perform on “The Hardest Out Tour” this May. A blistering 4-date showcase of SossHouse’s singular style, “The Hardest Out Tour” kicks off in Houston on May 24th, continues in New York (May 25th) and Atlanta (May 27th) before finishing up in Los Angeles on May 28th. Tickets for “The Hardest Out Tour” are available now at MoveForwardMusic.com

Stay tuned later in the spring for new mixtapes from Atlanta’s Bermuda Yae, Spartanburg, SC’s favorite son J Billz, and Detroit rapper/producer Kura.

With these projects on deck, and the recent release of his own Grails EP, Pi’erre Bourne is proving himself to be the hardest working man in rap music. Guided by his vision and unmatchable work ethic, SossHouse season is only just beginning.

About Pi’erre Bourne:
Pi’erre Bourne has established himself as one of rap’s most inventive artists and producers. He continued to flash his behind-the-boards prowess in 2023 on albums by the likes of Young Nudy and Trippie Redd. As well as crafting beats for the likes of Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and many others over the years, he also dropped acclaimed solo projects The Life of Pi’erre 4 and The Life of Pi’erre 5, which was hailed as one of the “Best Albums of 2021” by NPR, Complex, Rolling Stone, and XXL. Pi’erre is the founder and CEO of his own SossHouse imprint – home to artists like Chavo and Sharc. Most recently, Pi’erre shared the Grails EP, which officially releases eight fan-favorite snippets, and performed at his first-ever Coachella.

About Frazier Trill
Hailing from Greenville, South Carolina, Frazier is a longtime signee to SossHouse, specializing in tough-talking, streetwise bars delivered through a thick Southern drawl. He first made waves with a 2021 mixtape, titled Frazier Trill, created in collaboration with Pi’erre Bourne. Frazier is gearing up to release his next tape, Still Trapp’N, on May 5th via SossHouse.

About Chavo
One of the first signees to Pi’erre Bourne’s SossHouse label, Chavo has been a standout in the rap game from an early age. At age nine he landed a deal with Interscope as part of a trio with his cousin James and Big Pun’s son Baby Bun. He was introduced to Pi’erre in 2014, who planted the seeds for his recruitment to SossHouse years later. Since signing to SossHouse, Chavo has earned internet attention for hits like “Michigan” (31k TikTok creations) and collabed with his label boss on tracks like “Wasabi” ft. GT and A$AP Ant and “Call On Me.” His highly anticipated project Chavo’s World 3 is set to release later this year.

About Sharc
Sosshouse standout Sharc has already amassed an impressive list of accomplishments in just a few years in the music industry. The Queens, NY native first attracted attention with his 2021 full-length debut, 47 Meters Down, which was entirely produced by Pi’erre Bourne. He saw even bigger success on another collaboration with Pi’erre, as he turned heads with his guest verse on the viral hit “Drunk and Nasty.” Recently Gold-certified, the track saw massive success on TikTok, generating over 400k creations. In 2023, Sharc looks to make even bigger waves with his upcoming Sharc Wave mixtape, showcasing his sharp flows and quick wit.

About J Billz
Speeding out of Spartanburg, SC and racing to the top of the rap game, SossHouse’s J Billz stands out amongst his southern rap peers. His flexible flow and bouncy drawl put him in a league of his own. As a teen, he became interested in music, recording on GarageBand using his student MacBook but faced a difficult choice between fully investing in music or pursuing a career in football. Choosing the microphone over the cleats and shoulder pads, J Billz locked in, earning the respect of fellow South Carolinian Pi’erre Bourne, who signed him to his SossHouse label. Since signing to SossHouse, Billz has continued to impress with his striking Southern charisma, earning acclaim from outlets like The FADER and Lyrical Lemonade for Pi’erre-produced tracks like “Everywhere We Go” and “Fresh Off The Plane.”

About Kura
Known for his elastic flow and swift melodies, teenage rapper/producer Kura is a pioneer of a sound that mixes  hyperpop, hip-hop, and whatever else catches his fancy. The Greater Detroit native began producing, rapping, songwriting, and engineering himself from his bedroom at the age of 14 and has since continued to develop his ever-evolving sound. His confident vocals and dizzying melodies caught the attention of Grammy award-winning rapper/producer Pi’erre Bourne who signed Kura to his SossHouse label when he was just 17. The two have since joined forces on “Hold It Up” (550k+ streams) and have teased a collaborative project. Kura also has music on the way with artists like Babyface Ray and Veeze, as well as features from SossHouse peers Chavo, Sharc, and more.
