Pi’erre Bourne Shares Grails EP via SossHouse/Interscope, Featuring Official Versions of Fan-Favorite Songs
The SossHouse CEO Prepares to Play Coachella For The First Time
“Bourne’s raps are wordplay-heavy, funneling boasts about money and fashion, flirtations with lovers, and the occasional autobiographical gem through the tried-and-true art of the metaphor.” – Pitchfork
“Pi’erre Bourne just might be on his way to a Kanye-esque crossover.” – Rolling Stone
“The Life of Pi’erre 5 reflects the lyrical and emotional growth Pi’erre has gained since dropping the last entry in 2019, while maintaining his usual high-level production.” – Billboard
April, 2023 – GRAMMY® Award Winning Producer / Rapper, and SossHouse CEO, Pi’erre Bourne shares Grails, his new EP. The 8-track EP is a gift for fans ahead of the artist’s upcoming Coachella debut, this Sunday, April 16th. Pi’erre announced the EP tracklist on Monday, with support from Spotify, who featured Pi’erre on a Billboard in Times Square.
The new EP collects a series of fan-favorite snippets and early Pi’erre tracks, each re-recorded with new vocals and given official release for the first time. Grails gives a permanent home to songs like “IG,” which originally emerged as a snippet in 2021 before its release in February, and “Honeyberry 2,” which dates back to 2017 and finally had its DSP drop in March. Marking the first release of anticipated tracks like “NY in June” and “George Lopez,” among others, Grails EP is available everywhere via SossHouse/Interscope.

Grails EP is the latest salvo in a busy year for the SossHouse founder and CEO. Earlier this year, Pi’erre shared the new video for “DJ In The Car,” danceable highlight from his 2022 album Good Movie, available now HERE. The South Carolina-born artist is hard at work on the follow-up to Good Movie, dropping later this year. Most recently, Pi’erre connected with his SossHouse signees Sharc and Frazier Trill to release an unofficial remix of Lil Yachty’s “Poland,” with a video filmed in the titular country. Last night, before heading to the desert, Pi’erre headlined a sold out show at The Novo in Los Angeles.
Pi’erre Bourne has established himself as one of rap’s most inventive producers, and he continues to flash his behind-the-boards prowess in 2023 on albums by the likes of Young Nudy and Trippie Redd. As well as crafting beats for the likes of Playboi Carti, Lil Uzi Vert, and many others over the years, he also dropped acclaimed solo projects The Life of Pi’erre 4 and The Life of Pi’erre 5, which was hailed as one of the “Best Albums of 2021” by NPR, Complex, Rolling Stone, and XXL. Pi’erre is the founder and CEO of his own SossHouse imprint – home to artists like Chavo and Sharc.
Stay tuned for much, much more from the superstar polymath as 2023 moves along.
