A Lil Durk protege with a supernatural skill for mining pathos out of street situations, Booka600 is the next Only The Family signee to hit the big time. Opening up about his day-to-day struggle in the hood, Booka shares “Let Em Know,” a new melodic street anthem. Produced by JTK, the new track finds Booka confronting his demons, declaring love for his 600 Crew brethren, and mourning his lost friends. Booka’s mentor and OTF label boss Lil Durk hammers home the theme with a soaring chorus, asserting that you can’t ever truly know what someone is going through. “Let Em Know” also features a guest appearance from rising Chicago star and recent Warner Bros. Records signee Lil Zay Osama, who works his auto-tuned higher register for an emotional anchor verse. “Let Em Know” follows the equally revealing single “War Scars,” which earned a Dirty-Glove Bastard premiere, and “Baguette Bandz,” Booka’s Phil Collins-sampling standout from the compilation mixtape Lil Durk Presents: Only The Family Involved Vol. 2.
