The Masked Only The Family Signee Haunts the Streets of the Chi in His Sinister New Single
The Song:
With a percussive flow and uncompromising attitude, JusBlow600 is one of Chicago’s hardest-hitting emcees. Announcing his presence with his latest battle cry, JusBlow shares “Bow,” his new video single. Built around a creeping, low-note piano loop, “Bow” finds the Only The Family staying cool and applying heat, intimidating the opps with his sinister rhymes: “Racks in my pocket, the other a glock/The faker you is, the harder you flop/We shoot at the opps, then back on the block/Your homie got popped, you ran to the cops.” A brisk banger clocking in at just more than two minutes, “Bow” demonstrates the vicious lyricism and ear-catching charisma that endeared JusBlow to OTF label boss Lil Durk.
In the video, JusBlow hops from the crib to the studio, laying down his vocal track and mean-mugging at the camera. Health experts don’t fret–he proudly rocks his all-white surgical mask and maintains a strict six-foot distance between himself and the videographer. JusBlow might be a menace, but he’s not monster.
“Bow” arrives shortly after the release of “Drop A Bag,” a flex-heavy duet with his crewmate Memo600. The South Sider made noise last year with his single “SnitchK,” and its @Finesse_Mitch-directed video. JusBlow shared the spotlight with Lil Durk and labelmate King Von on “Gang Forever,” the opening track from Family Over Everything, last year’s OTF compilation project.
