“Finish Move” Will Appear On Mudd Classics Vol. 1, an Expertly-Curated Mixtape That Showcases Rising Michigan Rappers

Rising Detroit tastemaker Slitwristshawty expertly cuts through the noise, highlighting the best unknown rappers in Detroit and beyond. His latest gem–“Finish Move,” a wise-cracking new song and video from East Ken and L.I.E. Wayne.

Produced by SK, “Finish Move” is a creeping minor key anthem, as both emcees race ahead of the beat to pack in as many punchlines as possible into each bar. In the video, Ken and Wayne mob with their crews under gray Michigan skies, pulling down their masks to light up celebratory blunts.

Following the recent video for “B2B” by Skoot Luciano and BigTicketJuice, “Finish Move” will appear on Mudd Classics ,Vol. 1, a new compilation tape that highlights the Motor City’s up-and-coming rappers. Curated by Slitwristshawty, a rising tastemaker in the city, Mudd Classics, Vol. 1 showcases a rising crop of world-weary wordsmiths, who pack bunches of quotable bars into small packages–no song on the tape passes the 2:30 minute mark, and many clock in under 2 minutes. Hosted by BloodBoyGoon and presented by R Baron Group, the new collection offers the spotlight to a diverse array of undiscovered rhymers eager for the opportunity to show off their styles and work their way out of the mud. Mudd Classics Vol. 1 releases on August 12th.
