The Drill Rapper Tears Up Los Angeles In New Video Off Recent Mixtape Picture Me Rollin’, Premiered by ACCLAIM Magazine
“[Picture Me Rollin’] does display Dollaz’ astonishing versatility, with everything from trappy ballads to trunk-rattling EDM-influenced bangers to straight up party anthems” – HotNewHipHop
“Picture Me Rollin’ documents Mikey Dollaz as a major player in the street rap scene” – Dummy Mag
“Building on his background in drill rap, Dollaz has progressed to working with some of the biggest rap and EDM producers to drop consistently hard-hitting tunes” – ACCLAIM Magazine
Mikey Dollaz jet sets from the Windy City to the City of Angels in his new video and he seems to be enjoying the weather. Teaming up with Sonny Digital, Chicago rapper Mikey Dollaz dips his vocals in autotune for “Flat or Molly,” which was recently added to the rotation on Chicago’s Power 92.3 FM. The “Flat Or Molly” video, premiered by ACCLAIM Magazine, finds Mikey Dollaz cruising down Hollywood Blvd. carefree, swinging from the sun roof of a Jeep and gripping a fifth of Henny. “Flat Or Molly” follows the releases of videos for the Sonny Digital-produced “Good As It Gets,” premiered byHipHopDX, and for the Strict Face-produced “Fuck Me Right,” which Dummy Mag called a “visual concoction that entwines itself to the aquatic and crystalline sounds of Strict Face’s production.”
“Flat Or Molly” is a highlight from Mikey Dollaz’ Picture Me Rollin’ mixtape, which debuted last month via FACT Mag, finds Mikey Dollaz teaming up with Planet Mu’s Silk Road Assassins, Dun Deal, Obey City and Honorable C.N.O.T.E., in addition to the aforementioned contributions from Sonny Digital and Strict Face. Prior to Picture Me Rollin’, Mikey Dollaz appeared alongside frequent collaborator and drill rap architect King Louie on a loose single from producer SALVA, “Forever Be Dat Guy,” as gunshots punctuated what seemed to be a tranquil love tune flipping it into a boastful drill anthem. Born and raised on the West Side of Chicago, street drama derailed a promising basketball career for Mikey Dollaz. After a prison stint, he invested himself in the city’s burgeoning hip-hop scene, linking with Tink and Dreezy. Mikey Dollaz’s Picture Me Rollin’ is available now.

Mikey Dollaz Background:
To watch Chicago’s Mikey Dollaz is to see an artist’s vision coming into focus in real time. In less than three short years, he’s grown from a competent drill rapper to a versatile lyricist. He sometimes picks themes for entire projects to keep himself on mission: the titles of Sex Music, Music on Drugz and the three Street Life tapes speak for themselves. He literally has more talent than he knows what to do with. In 2016, Mikey Dollaz finds himself established and ready to make a statement as an artist. Done workshopping his flows and test-driving various styles, he’s ready to break out of the midwest and reach for national acclaim with a proper album. Only a couple of years into his career, it’s clear Mikey is yet to reach the limit of his potential.
