LUCKI Releases Last Laugh [archive tape], Capping Off His Biggest Year Yet With a Collection of Gems From His Vault

LUCKI’s Second Full-Length of 2026 Follows the Billboard Top 10-Charting Dr*gs R Bad and the Sold-Out “Bad* Influence Tour”

Arriving With a Gift for His Longtime Followers and New Fans Alike, the Chicago Rap Hero Digs Deep, Mixing Never-Before-Heard Songs with Beloved Leaks and Snippets, Including “overseas,” “60 mgs” and “what it is,” Each Hitting Streaming For the First Time

Critical Praise:

“…a mesmerizing, unremittingly morose testament to Lucki’s own sneaky, sing-song catchiness. He’s been perfecting his wounded and woozy rap for almost a decade, and the result is so irresistible you might find yourself accidentally groaning.” – Pitchfork on FLAWLESS LIKE ME

“Lucki has been applying the truths of this life to his music for the better part of a decade.” – Complex

“Lucki has been building his resume for years, crafting understated, infectious tracks that have shades of fellow Chicagoans like Chief Keef and Supa Bwe, but a swagger and sensibility that is all his own.” – Pigeons & Planes

“Lucki’s music can feel like you’re about to be submerged in a swamp or like you’re about to fall asleep behind the wheel of the Lamborghini from Suicide Squad“ – The FADER

‘On this blessed day, we also get Days B4 III, the new full-length from Lucki, the muttering young cult-rap icon whose self-destructive lyrics have the power to punch you in your soul.” – Stereogum

The Announcement:

For nearly 15 years, LUCKI has been one of the most respected rappers in the game, influencing the underground with his alternative trap sound and building a devoted cult in the process. Today, to cap off his biggest year yet, marked by a Top Ten album on the Billboard 200 and a sold out nationwide tour, LUCKI digs deep, releasing Last Laugh [archive tape]. The album features cover art by Kodone, depicting artistic representations of LUCKI’s evolution as an artist throughout the years.

A gift to his massive and growing fanbase, who chronicle every snippet and loosie that he drops, collecting them in playlists and sometimes playing them more than his officially-released songs, Last Laugh is a dispatch from LUCKI’s vault, featuring popular snippets, fan-favorite leaks, and never-before-heard gems. Compiled from material that spans more than a decade, Last Laugh gives new context to the Chicago native’s career, painting a picture of LUCKI’s creative process and illustrating his vast songwriting talent. Producers on the tape include regular LUCKI collaborators like Bhristo and Brent Rambo, plus heavy-hitters like Plu2o Nash, Samsson, and Flansie.

Last Laugh [archive tape] gives a proper home to some of LUCKI’s most beloved snippets and leaks, including “what it is!,” with its earworm hook and sliding 808s, fan-favorite stoner anthem “60 mgs,” and “overseas,” a mini-masterpiece of cloud rap, produced by LUCKI’s longtime collaborator Brent Rambo. Others, like the woozy “all wock” and the horn-drenched “okay, copy!” provide new looks at familiar LUCKI modes, allowing fans to imagine how they might have fit into albums like FLAWLESS LIKE ME or Freewave 3. The 12-track collection ends on a high note, with the titanic “knew what it was,” complete with a triumphant trap instrumental that belies LUCKI’s confessional, lovelorn rhymes: “Knew what it was when it come to you, I just get carried all away.”

Last Laugh [archive tape] is the culmination of a massive year for LUCKI, which kicked off in May when he released his highly anticipated album Dr*gs R Bad. With production from regular collaborators like Brent Rambo and Bhristo, and appearances from high-wattage guests like Lil Baby, Veeze, Lil Yachty, and Rylo Rodriguez, Dr*gs R Bad welcomes listeners into his warped world. Each highlight, including Pitchfork-approved effort “Stupid Prizes,” explores a different corner of LUCKI’s bleakly hedonistic worldview.

Despite stiff competition from three Drake albums, the album landed the biggest opening week of his career to date, notching a #9 debut on the Billboard 200 with 51,000 units and 48.39 million on-demand official streams, the best streaming week of his career. LUCKI was the 10th-most-streamed artist on Spotify during the album’s debut weekend, ranking ahead of behemoths like The Weeknd and Kanye West, and reached #4 on Apple Music’s All-Genre Albums chart. Beyond streaming, LUCKI racked up over 6,000 album sales, placing at #13 on Billboard’s Top Album Sales Chart. To date, LUCKI has earned 7 GOLD and 2 PLATINUM certifications from the RIAA.

Over the summer, LUCKI rocked the “Bad* Influence Tour,” selling out the entire tour, while performing at venues that ranged from 2500-5000 capacity. Featuring support from rising rapper Sk8star, the fast-selling “Bad* Influence Tour” was a remarkable achievement in an era when many artists struggle to keep their tours afloat.

With Last Laugh out now, Dr*gs R Bad in the rearview, and billions of streams in the bank, LUCKI hopes to shape the mainstream in his image. Keep an eye on LUCKI as he continues to elevate.
