Loe Shimmy elevated his game in 2025, and this year, the master of moody melodies looks to level up even further. The Broward County-born artist gives the visual treatment to “Leave Em Alone,” a seductive highlight from Rockstar Junkie: after the party, the expanded version of his acclaimed 2025 album. Riding a beat by ProdBino & King Nathan, Shimmy winds his woozy flow around a sumptuous bassline as he spits game and unleashes a flurry of flexes: “Zombie fly just like Aladdin, feel the fur on this chinchilla rug,” he boasts. In the video, Shimmy and his crew take a nighttime ride through Miami’s canals and pop bottles with some of the city’s baddest.
Released over the holidays, Rockstar Junkie: after the party adds 11 new songs to the acclaimed 2025 album Rockstar Junkie, including recent singles “Jet 2 Holiday,” “Baby Z,” “Crank Up Da Jet,” and “Lost & Found.” after the party keeps the vibe going from Rockstar Junkie, providing a smooth soundtrack to the debaucherous backstage moments that make the grind worth it. Originally released in July 2025, Rockstar Junkie spans an epic 26 tracks without flagging in energy or quality. The album immerses listeners in Shimmy’s world, with see-sawing beats, from Florida sound architects like DxnteMadeIt and others, their instrumentals swirling around Shimmy’s croaking melodies in hypnotic fashion. Rockstar Junkie highlight “3am” ft. Don Toliver is having a major moment, rose to a new peak of #60 on YouTube’s music video chart (with over 11 million YouTube views since September) and more than 42.5 million Spotify streams to date. In November, “3am” reached #100 on the Billboard Hot 100, marking the rising artist’s second appearance on the chart in two years.
