Atlanta-based rapper Lil Kee writes hard street narratives as well as more vulnerable pleas, all delivered through a thick layer of autotune and hazy, atmospheric beats. He built up a buzz through singles like “Hear Me Out,” and signed with Lil Baby’s 4PF label in 2020.
Lil Kee was born in Alabama and later moved to Atlanta. He began releasing tracks like “Swing My Way” in 2019, when he was 18 years old. After “Hear Me Out” started attracting attention, Kee inked a deal with Lil Baby’s 4PF label and released the songs “By Myself” and “Can’t Trust Myself.”
