A hard-worker with a conversational flow and a sly wisdom, Chitana brings a new flavor to Young Dolph’s Paper Route EMPIRE. Showing the world what he’s capable of in his first PRE release, Chitana shares “Hard Times.”

A soulful and reflective new track, “Hard Times” finds Chitana thinking about his upbringing, and how the principles of perseverance and a strong work ethic were instilled in him from a young age: “Man we used to shovel snow, even rake some leaves/My n****s did done some sh*t that you wouldn’t even believe.” The video is a tribute to his hometown of Chicago’s strong spirit during the pandemic, as Chitana gives a tour of some notable Chitown landmarks and the camera takes time to focus on the city’s citizens and their struggle.

Home to artists like the rising superstar Key Glock and boisterous personalities like Big Moochie Grape, Young Dolph’s Paper Route EMPIRE is one of rap’s most successful independent labels.
