Karri is a 21-year-old R&B artist from San Francisco who has quickly emerged as one of the most compelling new voices in the genre. With a sound that fuses late-night vulnerability, soulful melodies, and West Coast cool, Karri’s music speaks to the emotional turbulence of young love and self-discovery—effortlessly resonating with a generation searching for something real. He first made waves in February 2023 with his breakout single “3AM in Oakland,” a moody and melodic track that went viral on TikTok and helped him amass over 6.9 million likes and more than 200K followers. That online heat carried over to Instagram, where his reels caught the attention of none other than Drake, leading to a DM exchange and ultimately a signing with Chubbs’ label venture, Playing For Legacy (PFL).

Following a string of successful releases in 2024, Karri closed the year with his six-track EP Late Nite Slider Music, a project that captured the emotional complexity of late-night thoughts and hazy relationships. His rising momentum carried into the new year, earning him Billboard’s R&B Rookie of the Month in January 2025.

Now, Karri is stepping into a new phase of his career, marked by major collaborations that further solidify his place in the evolving R&B landscape. In February, he was featured on “Suede” alongside Goapele—a standout track from From the Soil, a joint album by P-Lo and the Golden State Warriors created for NBA All-Star Weekend. Just weeks later, he appeared on “Hesitation”, a soulful, atmospheric track on Joe Soulection’s latest project. He also teamed up with acclaimed producer Jack Dine for “Cheeky”, a smooth, groove-laced single.

Looking ahead, Karri is readying the release of his next project, an EP that promises to elevate his profile even further. The project will feature a lead single “Go” with Kehlani, and includes collaborations with Blxst, Isaiah Falls, Larry June, and Saweetie—a powerful lineup that showcases Karri’s versatility and rising influence.
