The Project:
Always working on his craft, Kalan.FrFr never fails to feed the streets with delectable melodic rap songs. Recruiting an elite class of collaborators, Kalan shares TwoFr 2 Extended. an expanded version of his most recent project TwoFr 2. The new version of the project adds six new songs, four of which are collaborations with Kalan’s various kindred spirits.
Kalan hits up Lil Durk for a remix to the TwoFr 2 highlight “I Like,“ the two melodic masters brag about spoiling their female companions, and ropes in rising singer Maeta for “On My Mind,” a duet about longing and lust. The new songs also showcase Kalan’s irresistible bravado–he proves he’s no “regular shmegular” on his collaboration with 1TakeJay and decries those who try and fail to sound like him on his new banger with BlueBucksClan. Further establishing Kalan as one of L.A.’s most versatile and creative artists, TwoFr 2 Extended is available everywhere via Roc Nation/First Class Ent.
The Compton native will perform songs from TwoFr 2 and TwoFr 2 Extended live on the “TwoFr Tour,” which embarks this fall. Kicking off in Houston on November 3rd, the tour weaves through the Western U.S., culminating in two hometown shows at The Novo on November 23rd-24th. His first tour since Fall 2019, the “TwoFr Tour” will feature performances of songs from TwoFr 2, as well as past hits like “Naked” and “Fine Ass.”
A major figure in Los Angeles’ stacked rap scene, recently crashing the Top 10 of Billboard’s Emerging L.A. Artists chart, Kalan.FrFr earned accolades and co-signs for his breezy melodies and hard-hitting bars.
