Switching up his flow to suit each song, Jackboy is one of the South’s most inventive and hyperactive new voices. Coming through with a slick new video, Jackboy makes a risky money move in “No Cap,“ his new video. An antsy, off-kilter trap slapper, “No Cap” is powered by Jackboy’s percolating flow, his energy barely contained by the jittering hi-hats: “B*tch, I want all the smoke just like a hippie/Hold court in the streets, you guilty/Pop you and you, I’m never too picky/Run up on me, yeah, it’s risky.”

In the video, Jackboy travels down I-95 from Pompano Beach to Miami, looking to expand his underworld empire. With the help of a beautiful assassin, Jackboy takes down the local syndicate, standing by while his partner does his dirty work. “No Cap” is the latest video from Jackboy’s new Lost In My Head mixtape, following the clip for the Jetson Made-produced “Bipolar.”

Spanning 15 tracks, Lost In My Head takes listeners deep into Jackboy’s turbulent life in Broward County, ping-ponging from heartfelt missives like “Jail Talk,” to aggressive hitters’ anthems like “In the Uber with the Ruger, to mission statement “Not A Clone,” which racked up nearly 4 million views on its video.
