The Bilingual Bronx-Born Artist Delivers Her Take on Her Borough’s Drill Scene With a High-Octane and Seductive Single From Her Upcoming Album, GeezLy’s World, Out August 23rd via EMPIRE
The Single:
Spitting in both English and Spanish, Bronx-born GeezLy embraces the dominant sounds of her borough to create a sonic world of her own. Strutting her stuff on a street-savvy single, the rising artist shares “U FEEL ME!?,” a high-energy, bilingual banger. Sinking her teeth into a Bronx beat that combines the five-beat pattern of Jersey club with the harsh synths of NY drill, GeezLy enters emcee mode, using a doubletime flow to annihilate her enemies in both her native languages.
“U FEEL ME!?” is the latest single from GeezLy’s World, GeezLy’s upcoming project. The 10-track project veers from style to style, touching on imperious raps, infectious reggaeton, and daring hybrids of both genre. The upcoming project features appearances from fellow Hispanic rappers, rising superstar That Mexican OT, Puerto Rican spitter Conep, and NTG, who, like GeezLy, is a Bronx resident of Puerto Rican descent.
The follow-up to GeezLy’s 2022 project Dentro Y Fuera, GeezLy’s World arrives on August 23rd via EMPIRE.
