FUERZA REGIDA’S “PERO NO TE ENAMORES” U.S. TOUR KICKS OFF WITH TWO PACKED VENUES IN TEXAS AND A TOTAL OF TEN SOLD OUT DATES

Edinburg, TX (June 11, 2024) – Mexican music powerhouse Fuerza Regida set Texas on fire during the first two sold out shows of their Pero No Te Enamores US Tour. The band’s kick-off events on Thursday, June 6, in Austin, TX, and Sunday, June 9, in Edinburg, TX, were a testament to the band’s unwavering popularity. Both events sold out, bringing in more than 26,000 fans combined, proving Fuerza Regida continues to capture the world with their third U.S. tour.
Fuerza raised the energy to an all-time high at the Moody Center in Austin by delivering a setlist featuring all their historic hits, including TÚ NAME, Que Onda, and Sabor Fresa, taking the fans through their most famous collaborations and a musical journey spanning their entire career. The excitement continued at the Bert Ogden Arena in Edinburg, where the band surprised fans with their interpretations of popular covers, such as the iconic “El Muchacho Alegre” and Tex-Mex anthem “Desvelado.” The energy shifted when the band delivered a stripped-down “Una Cerveza”performance, creating an intimate moment with the audience.
The tour, produced by Live Nation, is a brand new and elevated production that features a full center 360 degree stage setup with lasers that puts the audience right in the middle of the action, transporting them to the heart of a Mexican palenque. Fuerza’s creativity and the chemistry between band members and their fans is what drives their immersive and innovative concert experiences, solidifying Fuerza Regida’s status as one of the leading live acts in Mexican music today.
After eight initial dates of the Pero No Te Enamores U.S. Tour sold out quickly, the band announced additional shows in Dallas, Phoenix, San Diego, and a stop at the brand new Intuit Dome in Inglewood. Fuerza Regida is one of the first Mexican music acts to perform at the Intuit Dome, where the tour will also wrap up with an already sold-out show on November 16. The Background:
Mexican regional band Fuerza Regida’s music has taken Mexico by storm , and is also making a big impact on the American charts. The prolific band has released eight albums in three years, with their second album, 2019’s Del Barrio Hasta Aqui, entering the Regional Mexican Charts at #1. Their 2018 single “Sigo Chambeando” has been streamed 300 million times on YouTube and Spotify alone. Singer/songwriter Jesús Ortiz Paz founded Fuerza Regida in 2015, originally to perform covers of their favorite songs. Slowly their fan base grew, and after two years they went viral with an original track called “Radicamos en South Central.” The tune was uploaded to Jesús’s personal YouTube channel and blew up. Jesus also maintains his popular YouTube channel (which boasts nearly 1,000,000 Million subscribers), augmenting Fuerza Regida videos with inventive content. His most recent releases include an EP, Dolido Pero No Arrepentido, that went #1 Global with no features. Currently, Jesús Ortiz Paz is the owner and CEO of Street Mob Records, one of the most important regional Mexican music record labels, which opens the doors to new artists and composers, taking their careers to the highest levels of the entertainment industry.
