Fredo Bang‘s bruising lyricism and soulful flow have propelled him to the top of the Baton Rouge rap scene. Thoughtfully contrasting the perks and repercussions of his rising fame, Fredo shares “Trust Issues,” a new video. Shot by DemarcusTV, the new video finds Fredo performing the song in his studio, proudly rocking his chain in memory of his friend Da Real Gee Money and pouring his heart and soul into every lyric. Released over the weekend and already with over 450k views, “Trust Issues” is the latest release from Most Hated, Fredo’s upcoming project.

“Trust Issues” is the latest in a long line of successful videos, including the aggressive “Yo Slime” (3 million views), the bouncy “Waitin 4,” produced by Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose (1.6 million views), and the battle cry “Vest Up” (4.6 million views). All four of these songs, will appear on Most Hated, which boasts features from Moneybagg Yo, Lil Baby, and YNW Melly and releases on April 15th via Def Jam Recordings.

Fredo’s 20-song mixtape Big Ape dropped in May 2019, hosting hits like “Oouuh,” “Gangsta Talk,” and “Story To Tell” (Remix). Shortly after entering a partnership with Def Jam in the fall, Fredo issued his November 2019 follow-up mixtape Pain Made Me Numb, spanning 16 songs and containing the singles “Cap A Lot” and “Slidin.” Fredo has amassed tens of million of worldwide streams, while his videos have netted over 52 million collected views on YouTube alone.

Prior to the Covid-19 hiatus, Fredo was looking forward to hitting the road as the highest-billed supporting act on Moneybagg’s 26-city cross-country “Time Served Tour,” with dates running from March 19th through May 3rd. Details of the rescheduled tour will be announced in the months ahead.
