The Announcement:

Quebec, November 30, 2023 – The BLEUFEU team proudly unveils the lineup for Toboggan – New Year’s Eve Celebrations, presented by SiriusXM. The annual NYE celebration event returns to Québec City, livening up the Grande Allée area from December 28 to 31. This year also adds a new stage at Place George V, featuring performances by Loud LuxuryKlingande, and High Klassified. The traditional New Year’s Eve show on Place de l’Assemblée-Nationale features performances from Québecois artists Le Diable à CinqLes LouangesMike Demero, with a headlining performance by the Italian phenomenon Meduza. 100% free to enter, Toboggan is the ultimate destination to celebrate the last days of the year.

Held in the center of historic Québec City at the turn of every year, . Toboggan gains a new element this year with the addition of a stage at Place George V, the SiriusXM Cube, which will host festive electronic music nights on December 28, 29, and 30. The SiriusXM Cube is a multi-faced stage that will allow visitors to see the performances from three sides, starting each day at 5:00 PM. On-site, visitors can also enjoy the Winter Village from 1:00 PM, where heated areas under tents and relaxation spaces will enhance the experience.

“We are excited about the new stage at Place George V. It was high time to equip the event with a stage setup and production worthy of the EDM festival it has become. Performances by artists such as Loud Luxury or Klingande will take on a whole new dimension,” explains Louis Bellavance, VP Content and Artistic Direction at BLEUFEU.

On December 28th, the SiriusXM Cube welcomes Canadian duo Loud Luxury to headline, returning after headlining New Year’s Eve in 2019, preceded by Montreal sensation G L O W Z I, and Quebec DJ Derrick. On December 29, French multi-platinum DJ Klingande, a regular at major EDM festivals, takes the stage, Afro House of Montreal-born Franco-Congolese DJ Karaba and favorite Millimetrik. Montreal electronic pioneer High Klassified caps off the final night at the Cube on December 30th, performing for all the true electronic aficionados in town.

The celebration culminates on New Year’s Eve, as fans countdown to 2024 at Place de l’Assemblée-Nationale. From 8:00 PM to 12:30 AM, the Place transforms into to a gigantic open-air party with the traditional music of Le Diable à Cinq, the highly appreciated Les Louanges, Quebec DJ Mike Demero, known for the massive success “Night in Paris,” and the globally renowned Italian Grammy-nominated producers, Meduza, whose euphoric EDM will herald in the new year as the clock strikes midnight.

Toboggan Festival follows up BLEUFEU’s biggest event of the year: Festival D’été de Québec, which had one of its most successful editions to date this past July.
