The Announcement:
Quebec, March 11, 2026 – Attracting music fans and A-List artists from all over the globe with its celebratory atmosphere and picturesque scenery, Festival d’Été de Québec is unlike any other festival. Today, the Québec City festival announces the star-studded lineup for its 58th edition, bringing stars from all genres to the banks of the St. Lawrence River for a one-of-a-kind bash. Continuing a tradition that started in 1968, FEQ returns to La Vieille Capitale from July 9-19, 2026.
“FEQ is much more than a series of big concerts: it’s a gathering that brings people together and gives back,” said Nicolas Racine, President and CEO of BLEUFEU. “With two free stages and an affordably priced general-admission pass, we’re reaffirming a simple belief: music should be experienced everywhere, by as many people as possible, and generate positive benefits for our community. That’s the purpose of our commitment, year after year.”
Over its many years, FEQ has developed a reputation for building some of the most diverse, exciting, and surprising lineups of any modern festival. Spanning 11 days over 6 stages strewn throughout the city, the festival boasts enough variety to pique the interest of any music fan. Fans of 21st century pop will rejoice at the inclusion of headliners Gwen Stefani and Kesha, who plan to turn The Plains of Abraham into a dance party with their parade of hits. Rock music diehards will find plenty to celebrate, with the inclusion of stadium-rocking veterans Muse, nu-metal stalwarts Limp Bizkit, post-grunge radio favorites Daughtry, Aussie heavy-hitters Royel Otis, and Québecois heroes like Patrick Watson. Jelly Roll, one of current country’s biggest stars, headlines the festival’s final night, while Grammy-winning country star Nate Smith takes the stage earlier in the week.
Befitting a province with a rich folk tradition, FEQ recruits troubadours from all over, including Diamond-selling group The Lumineers and Americana veterans Lord Huron. The iconic Cypress Hill plan to rock the party for the hip-hop heads in the audience, and dancehall hitmakers Shaggy and Sean Paul are sure to bring the house down. FEQ also welcomes best-selling acts that don’t often appear at other festivals, including the eternally-smooth Michael Bublé, who headlines on July 12th. With these massive stars and a cavalcade of exciting artists from all over the world, the 2026 lineup cements FEQ as one of the most ambitious and unique events on the North American festival calendar.
One of the aspects that makes FEQ so unique among North American festivals is the excellent deal it presents for local and traveling fans. Passes for FEQ are available for only $180 CAD ($132.77 USD), offering ticket-holders the ability to see more than 200 acts over 11 days for the price of $16.36 CAD ($12.05 USD) per day. Beyond that, passes for the festival are fully transferable: if a fan is unable to attend one of the 11 days–or if the day’s lineup doesn’t suit their taste, or if they just want a day off–they can share their pass with friends and family. This ensures that fans only pay for what they want to see, and provides performing artists with a fully-engaged crowd.
Festival d’Été de Québec hosts its main stage performances on The Plains of Abraham, one of the most notable historical sites in Canada, where, in 1759, the British and French fought a decisive battle in the Seven Years’ War. Now, hundreds of years later, the Plains of Abraham is the location of the FEQ’s main stage, with a capacity of over 80,000. In addition to the Plains, FEQ hosts five additional stages throughout the city, with two stages free to enter for the public. Each night after the festival, for no extra fee, FEQ presents afterparties at the historic Québec Armory, for fans who want to dance the night away.
Over the years, many of music’s biggest stars have performed on the Plains at FEQ, including Paul McCartney, Lady Gaga, Elton John, Bruno Mars, The Weeknd, Green Day, Lorde, Kendrick Lamar, Post Malone, and many more. This year’s edition follows up last year’s star-studded edition, which welcomed performances from Shania Twain, Hozier, Benson Boone, Avril Lavigne, Kygo, Slayer, Rod Stewart, and many others. The festival earned glowing coverage in publications like Billboard, who named it “one of North America’s most dominant festiv and more. BLEUFEU, the company behind FEQ, continues to be one of Canada’s most respected and successful live music companies, presenting events in Québec like FONO Fest, a thrilling late-summer dance festival, and Toboggan, a unique New Year’s Eve festival featuring high quality acts from Canada and the rest of the world.
Showcasing one of North America’s most cosmopolitan and scenic cities, Festival d’Été de Québec is the closest North American analog to European city festivals like the UK’s Wireless Festival, Spain’s Primavera Sound, or Denmark’s Roskilde. Located on the banks of the St. Lawrence River, Quebec City is the closest thing to a European city within driving distance, and fans who don’t feel like road tripping can take one of 21 direct flights to the YQB airport.
