Single: Felly – “Bag Season” (ft. Trip Carter)
The Connecticut-Born Rapper/Producer Secures His Successes in the Earmilk-Premiered Single from the Upcoming Album
“The long-haired spitta is a promising young rapper who’s been growing steadily over the past couple of years.” – XXL
“The Connecticut-bred artist consistently delivers music perfectly suited for warm weather, with this new cut arriving at an ideal time.” – Elevator Mag
“Stylish, with his flowing long hair, Felly is a unique part of the up-and-coming generation of young rappers.” –HotNewHipHop
With over 52 million SoundCloud streams and more than 63,000 YouTube subscribers, 21-year-old artist/producer Felly is rapidly rising in popularity. Gliding over a jittery, ethereal instrumental with a melodic flow, the young rapper takes his success into his own hands on “Bag Season.“ Aided by an impossibly smooth hook from the velvet-voiced Trip Carter, Felly reaps the fruit of his labors, spitting about working hard and shouting down his haters: “Pimpin’ ain’t easy but it sure is fun/Can’t fuck with a real one, y’all my sons.” Premiered by Earmilk, “Bag Season” is the latest single from Wild Strawberries, Felly’s upcoming project. “Bag Season” follows the release of the video for “Blue Velour,” the live-in-studio jam cut that shows what Felly and his band can do.
Recently returning from the three-day-exclusive “Wild Strawberries Prelude,” during which he headlined shows in New Haven, Asbury Park, and Boston, Felly is a multi-talented artist with a strong social media following. Last year, Felly released the Young Fel EP, which earned nearly 7 million streams on SoundCloud since its release last July. Featuring an appearance from frequent collaborator Gyyps, the EP produced the breakout hit “Desert Eagle,” which earned more than 4.2 million streams on its own. Featuring appearances from Konshens, Gyyps, and Trip Carter, with production from Dre Moon, Dot Da Genius, YoG$, and more, Wild Strawberries hits stores later this summer. Signed to Cinematic Music Group, Felly is a major rapper to put firmly on your radar.

Born and raised in Trumbull, Connecticut, Christian Felner aka Felly grew up immersed in hip-hop music. Using passion as his guide, Felly taught himself how to make beats on a laptop in his parent’s basement. The aspiring rapper began to make a name for himself as a producer by selling said beats on YouTube. After relocating to Los Angeles, the rapper released two solo projects Waking Up to Sirens and Milk and Sugar. The projects featured Dreamville signee Ari Lennox and frequent collaborator, GYYPS. As his music caught more attention, Felly began working with more talented producers resulting in the release of his mixtape This Shit Comes in Waves. The mixtape’s success resulted in a 31+ city headlining tour and a SXSW appearance. Recently, Felly has relocated to New York City, where he has been gearing up for the release of his next album Wild Strawberries due out later summer 2017.
