A native of New York’s Lower East Side, David Lee creates a smooth and melodic strain of street rap. Showing off his soaring vocals in harmony with collaborator PnB Rock, David Lee blasts his way into pop territory with “Right There,” his new single. Providing a thrilling balance of rhythm and melody over Afropop-inflected percussion and subtle vox synths, “Right There” is a romantic and sensual new track, with David Lee and PnB Rock declaring their eager willingness to receive a late night call from the object of their affections: “Girls don’t waste my time/Girl, I won’t waste your time/You can just hit my line/And I’ll be right there.” In the video, David Lee and Rock party on rooftops in David’s home neighborhood by night, and spend time with gorgeous models by day.
