Embarking on a soulful journey of self-discovery, Domani announces Time Will Tell, his immersive upcoming project. A reflection on the unknowability of the future and the importance of letting fate run its course, Time Will Tell finds the 18-year-old rapper creating a unique sonic world, complete with lush live instrumentation, poetry, and bits of scripted dialogue. Says Domani, “Time will tell. I’m sayin the phrase pretty often. A lot of people have assumptions of what I will do, but at the end of the day, I don’t have a definite answer. I believe in myself. I want to be see as true to myself as possible, I want this to last a long time. A lot of stuff that’s not real doesn’t really last that long. I am a perfectionist, I’m a real artist, I run off the vibes and emotions, I can’t predict anything, I never know how I’m going to be feeling. All I can say is time will tell.”

To accompany the announcement of the project, Domani shares “Game We Play,“ a new music video. A dramatic single that features live horns and strings, “Game We Play” is a mournful and melodic examination of what happens when people treat life as a game without stakes and consequences. Artfully shot in black-and-white, the video depicts Domani engaged in a game of chess with a hooded figure, laboring over each move. As the game continues, the hooded figure is revealed to be none other than Domani himself. With more than 130k streams on Spotify, “Game We Play” is an ideal sneak peek at the thematic and sonic world of Time Will Tell.
