Throwing it back to the days of big band jazz and AM radio with his new single, the young Memphis rapper shares “The Ticket,” a new single. Rhyming over an vintage sample that combines saloon piano and honking trumpets, the 21-year-old rapper gets his flex on, commenting on racks that won’t fit in his trousers and a .40 too big to fit in his holster. The song connects Tre with That Mexican OT, who attacks the track with panache, complementing Loaded’s flexes with out-of-pocket bars of his own.

“The Ticket” is the latest track to emerge from LOADED, Tre’s upcoming mixtape. In early 2023, Tre first shared “Vo Flow,” a minimalist banger populated mostly by snapping fingers, low-note guitars, and Tre’s percussive voice, which eventually gained traction on social platforms like TikTok.
