The Announcement:

Trippie Redd continues to evolve—personally, emotionally, and musically—on his latest single, “Stay The Same.” The Ohio native leans into vulnerability and reflection, exploring the tension between fame, love, and self-identity. Produced by frequent collaborator Beats by Rose, the track pairs Trippie’s signature melodic flow with spacey, atmospheric production, creating a dreamlike backdrop for his confessions: “Runnin’ up all these racks, no, I won’t change /Runnin’ up all these racks, I stay the same.”

Balancing heartbreak and humility, Trippie opens up about fame’s emptiness and the desire for something real. Between boasts and vulnerability, he captures the bittersweet duality of his world, where designer brands and interplanetary metaphors meet emotional truth. “Money don’t mean anything to me, girl / I need your love,” he pleads, grounding the song’s high-energy cryptic production with sincerity. The visual brings Trippie’s universe to life with cinematic precision. Set in a parking lot alongside his crew, the video blurs the line between reality and fantasy—anime-inspired swords clash in slow motion as his muses glide across the frame like visions from another realm.

Earlier this month, Trippie released his single “Checklist,” a reflective and flex-heavy trap ballad. The song arrived with a music video that provided a window into Trippie’s home life in Miami, showing off his architecturally striking mansion and offering fans a glimpse of his large Labubu collection. “Checklist” and “Stay The Same” arrive as Trippie prepares for NDA, his next album, coming soon via 1400 Ent. / 10K Projects / Atlantic

A diamond-certified global phenom, Trippie Redd remains one of the most prolific, genre-blurring voices of his generation. With nearly 14 billion streams worldwide, he continues to shape modern rap’s emotional DNA through fearless experimentation and melody-driven storytelling. The artist is experiencing a commercial renaissance with the rediscovery of his 2018 Diplo collaboration “Wish,” via his 2019 Audiomack Trap Symphony performance, which has become one of 2025’s most unlikely rap hits. Powered by an emotional social media trend, the original and orchestral versions of the song have generated over 1.2 million creations and over 8 billion views across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, and YouTube Shorts, leading to over 1.5 million daily streams and 10.5 million weekly streams across platforms. The song made its debut on the Billboard Hot 100 at #88 last week, over seven years after its initial release, and continues to climb, reaching a new peak of #83 on the chart this week.

Following his recent single “Sketchy,” produced by Nick Mira, and following the viral rise of “Wish,” “Stay The Same” marks the next chapter of Trippie’s journey toward self-awareness—proof that even at the top, he’s still grounded in his truth.

Stay tuned for more information on NDA, coming very soon.
