Gifted with plainspoken wit and an affinity for wordplay, 23-year-old Caleborate is one of hip-hop’s most promising young voices. Premiered by HotNewHipHop, “Good Great” is a soul-sampling, celebratory track with thumping bass about achieving success in the music industry after overcoming hardship. “Good Great” expands upon many of the sounds and themes heavily featured in 1993, Caleborate’s most recent album, focusing on how people change when someone achieves success.
