Album: BONES & Eddy Baker – Jones Peak
The Team SESH CEO and Healthy Boyz Chieftain Unite for a Wide-Ranging and Hypnotic 14-Track Album
BONES and Eddy Prepare For the “InLovingMemory” Tour with Xavier Wulf, Embarking in May
“The Michigan-born rapper was one of the earliest and most influential artists to rise through the SoundCloud ranks in the early 2010s thanks to a truly unique aesthetic, an aura of mystery and a sound that would go on to be mimicked by his genre for years to come.” – HYPEBEAST
‘Already one of the most influential artists in rap and the SoundCloud underground, Bones shows no signs of slowing down.” – HYPEBEAST
“O’Connor’s short tracks, creepy videos, and one-word tweets rack up millions of social media interactions from a cult following that helped him sell out shows in 25 cities on a recent tour. The hip-hop elite is taking notice.” – The FADER
“Elmo Kennedy O’Connor was in pre-school when he became obsessed with the Southern artists of No Limit and Cash Money. Later in life, he would adopt the rap moniker Bones and amass a significant cult following. His gothic lyrical style, allergy to songs longer than two and a half minutes, and lo-fi visual aesthetic have convinced a quarter million people to subscribe to the SoundCloud page of his rap collective, TeamSESH.” – HotNewHipHop
Icons in the underground for over a decade, BONES and Eddy Baker have never stopped trying to surprise their fans. Joining forces for a versatile full-length that effortlessly oscillates from style to style, BONES and Baker share Jones Peak, a new collaborative album. Their first album as a duo since 2019’s fan-favorite SparrowsCreek, the new album makes the most of the hypnotic chemistry between BONES and Baker, as the two vocalists switch between low-talking triplets and melodies, when the occasion calls.
Spanning 14 tracks, the album reflects the two artists’ omnivorous musical appetite. Though fans might expect the Memphis-influenced dark trap of songs like “Cullinan” or “Wicked,” Jones Peak dwells in unexpected sonic realms. Taking inspiration from the Old West vibes evoked by the album’s title, which refers to a popular hiking destination in the Southern California desert, Jones Peak makes use of twangy acoustic guitars, like in lead single “YellowStone,” drawing from the gentler side of emo, or “GiddyUp,” in which both rappers use Southern accents and pay homage to country music. On the flipside, Jones Peak features some of the pop-friendliest material in either artist’s extensive discographies: “St.ElmosFire” adopts elements of bubblegum pop and chiming guitars that wouldn’t sound out of place on a Katy Perry album, while songs like the roller-rink-ready “80sMontage” and the echoing “InMyArms”–a dispatch from BONES’ 80s-loving alter ego Ricky A Go Go–transport listeners to the Reagan Era. Featuring a guest appearance from BONES & Baker’s compatriot Xavier Wulf, Jones Peak is available everywhere via TeamSESH / EMPIRE.
Jones Peak arrives as BONES, Baker, and Xavier Wulf prepare for the “BONES x Xavier Wulf x Eddy Baker: InLovingMemory Tour,” presented by Live Nation and Rolling Loud. The upcoming tour is the first by BONES in four years, and the first-ever co-headlining tour by these three artists. Named after a 2021 album by BONES, the “InLovingMemory Tour” tour begins on May 20th at Hollywood Palladium in Los Angeles, making stops across the U.S. in Chicago, Atlanta, Denver and more before wrapping up in Phoenix at The Van Buren on June 22nd. Tickets for the 20-city tour are selling fast, with dates in Los Angeles, Chicago, Boston, Portland, Detroit, San Francisco, and more sold out. Tickets are available at http://www.inlovingmemorytour.com/, and stay tuned for announcements of more dates.
The release of Jones Peak continues a big year for BONES. The TeamSESH CEO recently shared TheWitch&TheWizard, a haunting album created with longtime TeamSESH producer Greaf, a close collaborator of BONES who co-helmed his surrenderdorothy and OREGONTRAIL side projects. Most recently, BONES shared the long-awaited music video for his viral hit “AirplaneMode.” Earlier this year, BONES, Baker, and Wulf performed together on stage at Rolling Loud California, and will perform once again at Rolling Loud Miami.
With a joint album out and a fast-selling tour on the way, BONES and Eddy Baker are living proof that the underground is not so underground anymore. Continue to watch these two iconoclasts as they pave their own path to rap stardom.

BONES has proven to be one of the most enduring, influential, and creative hip-hop artists to emerge in the early 2010s. The TeamSESH founder has recorded dozens of albums, racking up hundreds of millions of streams and feeding a fanbase that eagerly awaits his every move. Despite remaining fiercely independent and true to his underground roots, his music has permeated the mainstream–in 2015, A$AP Rocky sampled BONES’ song “Dirt” for “Canal St.” (124 million streams), and in recent years, BONES has performed in prime slots at festivals such as Rolling Loud as a member of Seshollowaterboyz (along with Xavier Wülf, Chris Travis, and Eddy Baker).
