AllHipHop Premieres Sceond Single from One Hunnid EP, due Tuesday, April 15

The Song:

In eve of their One Hunnid EP, which will be released on iTunes tomorrow, April 15th, Bay Area rapper trio Blanco, The Jacka, and Messy Marv release “Change,” featuring Nipsey Hussle. The second single from their forthcoming EP, “Change” premiered on AllHipHop over the weekend. “Money, guns, and drugs, that’s my motherf-ckin’ motto,” says Blanco in his opening verse. The Cali crew reflect on their lack of interest in changing their lifestyle, chanting “I just can’t stay sober” through the song’s chorus.

Just a few weeks ago, the EP’s first single, “9/11” featuring YG, was premiered via Complex, who called the song “a smooth cut that is meant to bump at high volumes.” In addition to YG and Nipsey Hussle, Freeway, Mistah FAB, and Trae the Truth will be joining Blanco, The Jacka, and Messy Marv on their One Hunnid EP, which is produced in-full by Bay Area duo Tha Bizness.

Blanco Background:

Blanco (formerly Benny Blanco) is a rapper born in Berkeley, California but bred throughout the Bay Area. Fascinated by gangsta rap at an early age, Blanco began rhyming at 17. In 2004, he and his brother founded hip-hop label Guerilla Entertainment, which to date has released upwards of over 20 mixtapes and albums. As a member of rap trio The Yay Boyz with fellow label mates Taj-He-Spitz and Lil Hyfe, Blanco released Got Purp (Volumes 1 and 2), The Wizeguys, and full-length album Nosebleed Muzic. He has gone on to release several solo projects, including Blanco’s Way and American Pyscho, and more collaborative albums, including Jonestown with Messy Marv and Jacka, and his latest, Raw, with Nipsey Hussle. Blanco has also collaborated with Gucci Mane, Redman, Freeway, Freddie Gibbs and Styles P, and released projects with Araab Muzik and Yukmouth.
