Weaving his veteran street smarts and vibrant personality into each and every hard-hitting bar, Big Moochie Grape is a true original. Standing on his singular status, the “gigantic” Paper Route Empire rapper shares his new video, “Unique.” Highlighting his high-octane delivery with flurries of urgent piano and booming Memphis bass, the track finds Moochie running through a laundry list of flexes that set him apart from his competitors. In the video for “Unique,” directed by GhosxPro, Moochie moves like a man on a mission as he ventures through smoke shops, alleyways, trap houses, and the Memphis streets, where he stands in front of a mural featuring his East Haiti Baby artwork.

“Unique” arrives as the first video released in the wake of Moochie’s recent East Haiti Baby: Incarcerated, the follow-up to 2022’s East Haiti Baby. Honoring the project’s theme, Big Moochie Grape and Paper Route Empire partnered with the Bail Project, a non-profit that advocates for bail reform and provides free bail assistance to those in need, to match donations up to $20k for Giving Tuesday. East Haiti Baby: Incarcerated welcomes guest verses exclusively from other incarcerated rappers. On “I Made It,” the PRE rhymer welcomes YFN Lucci, who turns in a sing-song counterpoint to Moochie’s machine gun patter, while the aptly-named “Bars” unites Moochie with Flint all-star Rio Da Yung OG. “L.A. Lakers” is a PRE reunion, as Moochie and Big Unccc run an expert two-man game like LeBron and AD. Notably, the project welcomes an interlude from C-Murder, a close friend of Moochie’s late mentor Young Dolph, the No Limit soldier who has been locked up for decades and has much wisdom to share. Featuring an additional guest appearance from Bankroll Freddie, East Haiti Baby: Incarcerated is available all on platforms via Paper Route Empire.

Big Moochie Grape burst onto the scene in 2019, with boisterous Memphis rap tunes like “Uh Huh Uh Huh Uh Huh,” which appeared on his debut EP, Eat Or Get Ate. Inspired by his late PRE mentor Young Dolph, Moochie went hard in 2022, releasing East Haiti Baby, home to street hits like the Bandplay-produced “Acting Up” (30 million Spotify streams) and “Christopher Wallace” (10 million Spotify streams). The mixtape earned praise from Pitchfork, who said, “the Young Dolph associate’s latest album is full of hard-working hustler music that never lets up.”
