The Tough-Talking East Memphis Native Brings Out the Block for His Raucous New Visual

Locking into Tennessee trap instrumentals with his hard-hitting, metronomic flow, Big Moochie Grape is the latest Paper Route EMPIRE signee to bubble out of the East Memphis streets. Taking over his hometown in his brand new Purple Lamborghini, Big Moochie Grape announces his arrival with “Uh Huh Uh Huh Uh Huh,” his new video single. Boasting a wavy, head-nodding instrumental from PRE beatsmith Bandplay, “Uh Huh” showcases Moochie’s uncommon charisma, his deep arsenal of flows, and his detailed, flex-heavy bars: “20 in my left pocket, 20 in my right/Everybody like ‘damn, he done came up overnight.'”
In the video, directed by Michael Artis, Moochie gathers a couple dozen of his best friends to his Memphis neighborhood, taking over a local corner store and counting cash outside his Concord-colored Lambo (a gift from PRE head honcho Young Dolph).
Big Moochie Grape first started to get attention in late 2019 with his standout verse on “Now & Next” (818k YouTube views), a highlight from fellow PRE signee Jay Fizzle‘s Young Dumb & Don’t Give a F*ck mixtape. In January, Moochie released “Big Juice,” a woozy banger that gained traction on the Memphis streets. With over 60k plays on Spotify and 323k YouTube views since its release in late January, “Big Juice” helped increase Moochie’s YouTube subscriber count by 3,000 and pushed the young rapper past the 50k follower mark on Instagram. With the help of Young Dolph and Paper Route EMPIRE, Moochie is looking to make the leap from regional to national recognition.
