Fans rejoiced this August when Baja Beach Fest returned to Rosarito Beach, MX for its Fifth Anniversary, bringing A-List talent, nonstop perreo, and positive vibes to the friendly beachside town. Today, the festival releases the Baja Beach Fest 2023 Aftermovie, allowing fans to relive the one-of-a-kind event.

Baja Beach Fest 2023 was an unforgettable occasion, packing the beaches of Rosarito with thousands of passionate Latin music fans. The fest was a celebration of Reggaeton’s past and present, bringing legends of the genre and rising stars alike, with between-set DJs drawing from the decades-long history of the genre to get the crowd to sing along. 2023 introduced a surprise second stage on top of the festival‚Äôs delay tower, where¬†Tainy¬†and¬†Sky Rompiendo¬†performed DJ sets and thrilled the fans on the sand below. The new Aftermovie recreates those irrepressible vibes, offering breathtaking aerial views, intimate closeups, performance shots, and never-before-seen behind-the-scenes footage in one slickly-edited package.

Soundtracked by music from¬†Don Omar, Feid, Young Miko, Becky G, El Alfa, Tainy, and more, the new Aftermovie documents many of the most memorable on-stage moments from the festival:¬†Don Omar¬†inviting¬†Tego Calderon¬†onstage for the first live performance of “Bandoleros” in five years; a series of surprise special guests, including¬†Ryan Castro¬†during¬†Feid‚Äôs¬†set, and¬†Gabito Ballesteros¬†during¬†Becky G‚Äôs¬†performance; stage entrances by¬†Don Omar, Ozuna, Feid, Becky G, and more;¬†Arcangel¬†rocking the house;¬†Tainy’s¬†memorable performance atop the delay tower;¬†Young Miko’s¬†charismatic twilight set; and finally,¬†Grupo Firme’s¬†festival-closing “special Sunday set,” a moment of catharsis and Mexican pride to conclude a weekend of action. Founded by¬†Chris Den Uijl¬†and¬†Aaron Ampudia¬†of¬†La Familia Presenta¬†in 2018, Baja Beach Fest is an institution in the global music industry, bringing headliners that have included Bad Bunny, Karol G, Daddy Yankee, and J Balvin.
