Armanii Garners Three Nominations at 2026 Caribbean Music Awards

The Phenom Earns Nods For “Male Artist of the Year,” “Dancehall Album of the Year” (THE IMPACT), and “Dancehall Song Of The Year” (“B.B.B. (Snapchat)”)

Surging Behind His Acclaimed 2025 Debut Album THE IMPACT, and Song of the Summer Candidate “WUL UP,” the Young Kingston Native is Jamaica’s Next Global Superstar

Critical Praise:

“#8 Best Caribbean Album of 2025 (The Impact)… From breezy reggae love songs (“Lose Your Love”) to Afropop-infused party tracks (“U A Gwan”), steamy dancehall-R&B duets (“Balcony,” with Jada Kingdom) and pensive anthems of encouragement (“Champion”), Armanii crafted an album that doesn’t just announce the arrival of a new star, it also invites audiences to explore the full range of his versatility.” – Billboard

“With each new single, Armanii uncovers new layers of his artistry, ranging from suggestive, Kartel-esque wordplay (“XOXO”) to transformed soul samples (“B.B.B.”). His magnetism, drive and overall artistic instincts make him a natural leader of the next generation of Caribbean music superstars — and a natural pick for Billboard’s inaugural Caribbean Rookie of the Month.”Billboard

“…it is clear he is not interested in a moment that flashes and fades. He wants something people feel and carry. Kingston in his voice, Jamaica in his rhythm, the Caribbean in his range. The work is already there. Now the world gets to catch up.”TMRW Mag

“With THE IMPACT, Armanii delivers a bold and soulful debut that positions him as one of the most promising voices in the next generation of dancehall artists.” Caribbean National Weekly

Voting for the Caribbean Music Awards is now open and will remain open through Monday, August 10. Votes can be cast HERE.

Armanii is red hot as he continues the momentum from his breakout 2025, highlighted by his debut album THE IMPACT. Released in December, the album was a major chart success, reaching #1 on the U.S. iTunes Reggae Chart and #1 on the U.S. Apple Music Reggae Chartand #8 on the Billboard Reggae Albums Chart. THE IMPACT also earned critical acclaim, placing at #8 on Billboard’s 10 Best Caribbean Albums of 2025. Home to hit singles like “B.B.B. (Snapchat)” and “8:00 PM,” and appearances from heavy-hitters like Jada Kingdom and Bay Swag, THE IMPACT established Armanii as a force to be reckoned with on the global music scene. In March, Armanii dropped THE IMPACT (Deluxe): PGLA Edition, adding four new songs for his fans to enjoy.

Not one content to rest on his laurels, Armanii is currently surging behind “WUL UP,” his latest single. A collaboration with renowned dancehall producer NOTNICE, “WUL UP” layers Armanii’s rich and melodic vocals over a muscular riddim, eschewing international influences to create a banger that is Kingston to its core. With over 1.5 million combined streams since its official release on May 23, “WUL UP” is on track to become the dancehall song of the summer, ready to shut down club nights and soundclashes until the weather cools down.

Making waves in Jamaica and beyond with his powerful vocals and genre-bending sound, Armanii is one of the island’s most exciting new talents. With over 330 million lifetime streams and 1.3 million followers across all platforms, the young artist is just getting started. Catch Armanii at Bikini Palooza in NYC on July 5th, and stay tuned for much more from him as he continues to heat up.
