Building a reputation for her earworm melodies and ten-toes-down realness, 414JungleBaby is the next torchbearer for Milwaukee’s bustling rap scene. Today, the rising rapper reveals the tracklist for Everybody Watching, her next mixtape. Commenting on her status as an emerging icon in her city, drawing attention from A-Listers from across the rap game, Everybody Watching is home to recent singles “Blocklist” and “Hit A Right.” Spanning 9 tracks, the tape follows-up May’s JUNGLE THIS JUNGLE THAT, her debut EP, building on the tape’s momentum with tighter songwriting and souped-up production. Featuring a guest spot from Philly heatseeker Surf7, plus production from Midwest hitmaker Helluva, Everybody Watching drops on September 4th via 300 Ent.
414JungleBaby’s distinctive aesthetic has caught the attention of veterans in her hometown, who have pegged her as the Brew City’s next big thing. Growing up in Milwaukee’s streets, Jungle grew a hard shell, and music was the outlet she used to let her true feelings out. The rapper set herself apart in the scene with her expressive melodies, which allow her to float atop her city’s trademark snares with style and grace. Jungle has collaborated with Milwaukee veterans like Chicken P and SME TaxFree.
Earlier this year, made noise with her debut EP, JUNGLE THIS JUNGLE THAT, home to “Yo Baby,” which was named “Best New Track” by Pitchfork, drew the attention of stars like Sexyy Red, Veeze, and J.P., and generated over 1 million views on an Instagram clip of its On The Radar performance. Released by 300 Ent., the EP featured new collaborations from heavy-hitters like Montana 700, Fox BD, and FWC Big Key.
