The Announcement:

NEW YORK — AUGUST 26, 2026 — Today, Chief Keef has officially sold out the opening night of his “Chief Keef Live 2026” tour, marking a major hometown moment for the Chicago-born rap icon. Taking place September 12 at Huntington Bank Pavilion at Northerly Island, the sold-out performance will launch his 19-date national tour and mark his first Chicago headlining show in years, as well as his first nationwide headlining run since 2024. With the remaining tour dates set to go on public sale, the hometown sellout signals the continued demand for one of hip-hop’s most influential artists to return to the stage.

The sold-out hometown show returns Chief Keef to the city where his career began more than fifteen years ago. Widely credited with pioneering the Chicago drill sound, his return to headline his hometown carries particular significance, arriving just weeks after his 31st birthday and following a sustained period of critical and commercial momentum.

“Chief Keef Live 2026” will travel to major markets nationwide, including Minneapolis, Detroit, Houston, New York, Philadelphia, Boston, Denver, San Francisco, Los Angeles, and Las Vegas, before concluding October 28 at Brooklyn Bowl Las Vegas. The set will span Chief Keef’s expansive catalog, from Finally Rich staples like “Love Sosa” to material from his latest mixtape, Skeletor, with surprise guest appearances expected throughout the tour.

A DEFINING YEAR
Chief Keef enters the tour following a period of significant creative and commercial momentum. Rolling Stone also named Finally Rich one of the 200 Greatest Hip-Hop Albums of All Time, underscoring Chief Keef’s continued influence on the genre.

Critical Praise:

Rolling Stone’s 200 Best Hip-Hop Albums of All-Time (Finally Rich, #32)

“‘Almighty So 2’ is this big all the way through. Keef stays restless, indulging wild thoughts and building them out to feature-length productions.”  – Pitchfork

“The most striking element of ‘Almighty So 2,’ and Chief Keef’s career at this moment, is his emotional progression.” – Rolling Stone

“Eleven years later, his long-teased sequel, ‘Almighty So 2’ delivers with the immediacy of the first — but it is markedly different. Keef has never sounded more polished, more professional — but he stays true to himself.” – Associated Press

“There’s no denying the influence of Keef’s menacing production, straightforward verses, and early D.I.Y. rap ethos on the generation of hip-hop artists that has followed.” – Pitchfork

“The influence and staying power of Chief Keef really cannot be overstated.” – The FADER

“There is still nothing that feels like ‘Love Sosa,’ the breakout single from a then 17-year-old Chief Keef, from his debut album, Finally Rich. The Chicago rapper’s melodic, hard-nosed anthem shook the foundation of hip-hop. The kids were taking control in a way that the genre had never seen.” – Rolling Stone
