ST. LOUIS, MO  – APRIL 6, 2026 —  This weekend, Grammy-nominated, multi-platinum, St. Louis native rapper Sexyy Red returned home with more than just her signature energy—she returned with purpose. Through the official launch of her nonprofit, Giving Is Sexyy, she hosted an Easter Giveback that brought together over 500+ families in St. Louis for a day rooted in joy, care, and meaningful community impact, marking a powerful moment ahead of her highly anticipated Coachella debut performances this month and the upcoming release of her new album on April 15, her birthday.

Held at Prince Beauty Supply, the space was transformed into a vibrant, family-centered celebration—filled with laughter, music, and moments that truly mattered. Children ran through Easter egg hunts, smiled wide as they received baskets filled with toys and candy, and experienced pure joy through interactive attractions like bounce houses, a petting zoo, obstacle courses, horseback riding, mechanical rides, and more. In collaboration with local vendors and food trucks, including Soul & Burgers, families were also able to enjoy a variety of treats throughout the day, from ice cream and cotton candy to popcorn and other food offerings. Families gathered, shared meals, and created lasting memories—many in a space that, even if just for a few hours, felt safe, supported, and full of possibility.

But beyond the celebration, this event marked something deeper: the beginning of a mission rooted in lived experience.

Giving Is Sexyy was created to uplift and empower economically and emotionally vulnerable children, starting in St. Louis and expanding nationwide. The foundation focuses on families facing some of life’s toughest challenges: single-parent households, children with incarcerated parents, and families impacted by domestic violence. Its goal is simple yet powerful—to provide stability, opportunity, and care to children who need it most.

Growing up in St. Louis, Sexyy Red witnessed firsthand how difficult life can be without a safety net. Across her city—and throughout the country—too many children are navigating hardships they didn’t choose: unstable housing, emotional trauma, and a lack of consistent support. These challenges don’t just shape childhood—they shape futures. But with the right resources, guidance, and community, those futures can be rewritten.

Through Giving Is Sexyy, she is turning personal experience into purpose, using her voice, platform, and resources to mobilize support, raise awareness, and bring people together around a shared belief: no child should have to carry adult-sized burdens. The foundation’s work centers on three commitments: supporting single parents with rent, childcare, and essential needs; providing mentorship and educational pathways for children with incarcerated parents; and delivering emergency housing, counseling, and recovery resources for families escaping violence.

More than a nonprofit, Giving Is Sexyy acts as a connector—partnering with local organizations, community leaders, and national networks to respond quickly to urgent needs while building long-term solutions. From heartfelt interactions between families to quiet, meaningful moments shared between Sexyy Red, her mother Andrea Franklin, and the community—it was clear this was more than a giveback. It was the beginning of a movement. With a mission grounded in compassion and a vision rooted in impact, Giving Is Sexyy stands as a reminder that every child deserves a real chance at safety, stability, and success—and that change starts with showing up for your community. One family, one city, one moment at a time.

It’s been a momentous year for Sexyy Red, who has carried her momentum into 2025 through a series of major releases and high-profile collaborations, further expanding her reach across genres and audiences. Her latest singles, “If You Want It” and “Hang Wit a Bad B*tch” featuring Key Glock, are performing strongly across radio and streaming platforms, further expanding her presence on the charts. On stage, Sexyy Red has proven herself as a must-see live performer, delivering standout sets at major festivals including Rolling Loud LAWireless Festival in the U.K., and Summer Smash in Chicago. In 2026, she reached a new milestone with her debut at the Coachella Valley, solidifying her status as a global force in hip-hop. Beyond music, she continues to grow her brand through strategic partnerships and entrepreneurial ventures–including the launch of her nonprofit Giving Is Sexyy—further deepening her cultural and community impact.
