That Mexican OT showcased his irreverent humor and impeccable flow on his new album Recess, released earlier this month. The 26-year-old Bay City, Texas native keeps his run going, sharing “Chronic,” the latest video from the album. Produced by 10Fifty and Platinum-selling production duo Bankroll Got It, “Chronic” is a West Coast-style rider’s anthem with a Texas twist, uniting OT with L.A.’s Bravo The Bagchaser to discuss their favorite hazy hobby: “F*ck that bottle, ho, I’m in the club smokin’ an ounce,” spits OT on the hook. In the video, country boy OT heads to the big city, joining Bravo in his hometown for some classic Hollywood nights, as they host an intimate gathering at a mansion in the hills.

“Chronic” is the latest video from Recess, OT’s worthy follow-up to his acclaimed and commercially successful efforts, Lonestar Luchador (2023) and Texas Technician (2024). Channeling the mischievous and carefree spirit of a trouble-making kid on a playground, the tape is the latest showcase of the Bay City, TX rapper’s singular blend of lightning-fast flows and Texas-fried melodies. Earlier this summer, That Mexican OT announced the “Recess Tour,” launching in late August.
