Sexyy Red Makes History with First-Ever Residency at Tape London During Wireless Weekend

In a landmark move that set the tone for the summer, Sexyy Red took over Tape London for three unforgettable nights during Wireless Weekend marking the venue’s first-ever artist residency and kicking off the launch of Tape Wired, a new artist-led takeover series celebrating Tape’s 10-year anniversary.
“I love London and all my fans there. Tape is like my home there. This is my first residency and it’s an incredible experience because the vibe and the entire team at Tape are all amazing. It’s really one of the best clubs in the world for artists and I can’t wait to go back,” Sexyy shared.
“Sexyy Red has been incredible to work with. This was our first full artist residency and she set the bar. She brought her world into the space with vision, energy, and a real connection to her fans. It felt personal, electric, and marked a standout moment for Tape,” says Tape Management.
Riding high off a string of new music, standout collaborations, and major festival moments both in the U.S. and abroad, the St. Louis superstar brought her world and her friends with her. With surprise appearances from Latto, Yeat, Rubi Rose, DDG, Loe Shimmy, Zack Bia, and Ben Da Don, Sexyy didn’t just perform, she transformed the iconic venue into her house.

Known for merging a live performance space, in-house recording studio, and members lounge into one all-access, music-first playground, Tape has hosted some of the most unforgettable cultural moments in London over the past decade. With Tape Wired, the venue expands its global vision starting with Sexyy Red’s electric residency and continuing with its seasonal return to Mykonos, where Sexyy will also be joining the 10-year celebration.
