Baby Money and Chicken P Star in “Might Just,” the New Video from Baby Money’s Album Less Is More

Never lacking for motivation, Baby Money specializes in making music that inspires you to go out and get it. The Detroit West Sider teams with a fellow hustler, Milwaukee’s Chicken P, for “Might Just,” his new music video. A propulsive banger with liquid keys and booming 808s, “Might Just” finds the Midwestern moguls trading bars, giving listeners a clinic in making money out of thin air: “I’m a hustler, you could give me nothing, I could sell it,” spits Baby Money. In the video, directed by Baby Money’s frequent collaborator Man Films, Baby and Chicken P connect in Detroit, where they bring out the block before heading to the club. “Might Just” is the latest video from Less Is More, Baby Money’s brand new album.

Home to recent singles like the simmering “Armageddon,” a collaboration with respected Eastside rapper G.T., the creeping “Ten,” and the triumphant “Wow,” Less Is More establishes Baby Money as Detroit’s most charismatic money-getter, bringing words of motivation for aspiring moguls and harsh taunts for his opposition. The rapper’s authoritative delivery fits perfectly atop the propulsive Michigan production, his matter-of-fact pronouncements delivered with a commanding conviction that could convince anyone to go out and start getting money. The album earned coverage in XXL, VIBE, and more, and peaked at #19 on Apple Music’s Hip-Hop Albums chart. Since his emergence in the late 2010s, 27-year-old Baby Money developed a reputation as one of Detroit’s most exciting and skilled young rappers. He stood out even amidst a crowded scene of rappers from his state with his stankface-inducing wordplay and authoritative flexes, rhyming with the gravitas of an OG and the hunger of a young striver.
