Born Derick Blakes Jr., DB.Boutabag is one of Northern California’s most talked-about underground artists. With viral hits like “1st Off” and “Top Rapper” ft. Drakeo The Ruler, he built a cult following off his “get money, mind your business” energy. His 2022 breakout project I AM NOT RAPPIN featured the hit “Don’t Choke”, followed by MOTION NOT EMOTION, solidifying his spot as NorCal’s next up. Known for pushing hustle over violence, DB’s message resonated deeply. In 2023, he sold out 15 of 20 cities on tour and collaborated with the Sacramento Kings for a halftime anthem.
