1900Rugrat Connects With BossMan Dlow for “Cheat Codes” Music Video

The New York Times’ Artist To Watch and His Fellow South Florida Rapper Give a Glimpse Behind the Scenes of the “Dlow Curry Tour,” Including Last Weekend’s Stop at Rolling Loud California

“Cheat Codes” is a Highlight from Porch 2 The Pent, Which Has Racked Up Over 100 Million Streams to Date

Critical Praise:

“Artist to watch…A South Florida rapper with a deeply scraped-up voice, extravagantly slurred syllables and a hardscrabble wit.” – The New York Times

“Artist to Watch for 2025…Hard knocking trap anthems that draw equally from his home state and the digital underground.” – The FADER

The Announcement:

1900Rugrat ascended to the top of the busy Florida rap scene with his sharp punchlines and crackling flows. Joining forces with his fellow South Florida heavy-hitter for his latest music video, 1900Rugrat recruits BossMan Dlow for the brand new “Cheat Codes” video. A titanic trap banger, “Cheat Codes” provides a launching point for both rappers to perfect their most outlandish flexes: “Neck and wrist so icy, chain hit like lightning,” says 1900, while Dlow says, “You can’t f*ck with me or Rugrat, you ain’t got 1900 dollars.” Filmed last weekend at Rolling Loud California, “Cheat Codes” shows how 1900 and Dlow have been moving on the “Dlow Curry Tour,” as they pop out for packed sets and celebrate their accomplishments at L.A.’s finest nightlife establishments. The video features cameos from Sexyy Red, who 1900Rugrat shouts out in the lyrics, Dave BluntsHotboiiN3on, 19’s close friend Rickfrmdacreek, and others.

“Cheat Codes” is a highlight from Porch 2 The Pent, 19’s debut mixtape, which arrived as the culmination of the artist’s viral rise from the trenches to the top floor. Inspired by the high-octane street music he grew up on, Porch 2 The Pent is packed with stadium-sized trap instrumentals, perfectly-suited to 19’s outsized personality. Several tracks on the tape feature production by Akachi, a close collaborator of 19’s all-time favorite artist Chief Keef, whose envelope-pushing fingerprints can be found on songs like “Never Dat” and “Two Tone Maybach.” Other songs, like the recent single “Auntie Ain’t Playin'” ft. Skrilla and the viral “One Take Freestyle,” warp familiar samples into blown-out bangers, unfurling a canvas for 19 to apply his frayed drawl. Porch 2 The Pent has generated over 100 million streams across platforms, good for nearly 70k streaming-equivalent units to date. With additional guest spots from Lil Yachty and Rickfrmdacreek, Porch 2 The Pent is available now on all platforms via Remain Solid / 300 Entertainment.

Porch 2 The Pent continues 1900Rugrat’s run as one of 2025’s most exciting new rap stars. His career reached a new level last summer, when he released he “U.O.E.N.O.”-flipping “One Take Freestyle.” Propelled by 19’s snarling delivery, quotable bars, and an electric performance on On The Radar, “One Take Freestyle” went viral, generating tens of millions of streams across platforms and approaching 500k units sold. The Kodak Black-featuring remix has generated over 2 million Spotify streams and 4 million YouTube views, and hasn’t left YouTube’s trending chart in the 4+ weeks since its release. 1900Rugrat is currently on tour with bossMan Dlow on his “Dlow Curry Tour,” which stopped in Los Angeles for Rolling Loud California last weekend. 1900Rugrat performed a packed set at the festival, and was joined by Rickfrmdacreek for P2TP highlight “Dyin Bout Respect.”

Born in Limestone Creek, a diverse enclave in Palm Beach County, 1900Rugrat worked tirelessly to hone his rhyme talent until he could compete in a crowded Florida rap scene. Flashing his ability to go crazy on any instrumental, 19 dropped a steady stream of freestyles, gaining traction over beats with samples of artists as diverse as Lil Uzi Vert, Alicia Keys, and Nancy Sinatra. The rapper’s made a major impact when he appeared on On The Radar, where he performed “One Take Freestyle,” racking up 2.8 million views and going viral on social media. Since then, 19 has grown his social and streaming audience by massive multiples, and scored follow-up hits like “Clean + Dirty” (4 million YouTube views), “Dead Cracka” ft. BLP Kosher, and the viral “Auntie Ain’t Playin” ft. Skrilla (over 70 million views on TikTok). Most recently, 1900Rugrat earned “Artist To Watch” status from The New York Times, who praised his “unpredictable rhyme choices” and his “preposterous punchlines.”

With Porch 2 The Pent out now, 1900Rugrat is primed to take over the game. Stay tuned for much more from this electric talent in the near future.
