Founded by Chris Den Uijl and Aaron Ampudia of La Familia Presenta, Baja Beach Fest has grown from a single-day festival in 2018 into an essential event for the global music industry. The festival’s rise has mirrored the rise of Latin Music into a global pop phenomenon, and has been the genre’s top North American showcase, presenting headliners like Bad Bunny, Daddy Yankee, Karol G, and many more icons. In recent years, the festival has been proud to host artists from its home country, as Mexican music has exploded from a regional concern to an international obsession.
Baja Beach Fest has become more than a festival–it is a welcoming and vibrant paradise, an escape from regular life in service of surrendering fully to the music. The event’s beautiful ocean location fosters an incredible vibe, as fans revel at the many bars and activations and practice their perreo. Located just 45 minutes south of the California border, the beachside town of Rosarito Beach, Mexico comes alive during the festival, with merchants spilling out onto the streets, and food vendors serving the party-positive crowd. Fans have the opportunity to enjoy a wide selection of beachside activities, including surfing, horseback riding, ATV, and much more. The positive vibes last all weekend long, creating an atmosphere that embodies the festival’s slogan: “Menos hate, Más perreo.”
Baja Beach Fest 2025 promises to be one of the most exciting editions in the festival’s history–stay tuned, it’s gonna be a massive year.
